    Help a newb please

My sticker says 1465lbs. Wife and I plus the kids and hitch and other equipment loading into the truck would be ~650lbs. How would I find the tongue weight of a trailer? I've been setting a limit of 6.5k for the weight thinking I was leaving plenty of cushion but maybe that's closer to the...

    Help a newb please

Hey all, Bought a Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn this week. It has the 5.7L w/ eTorque and the towing package. Using the vin lookup website, it says my towing capacity is right under 8,000lbs and the payload is 1500lbs. My wife and I want to look at camper trailers. What should I consider as my...

    Lifts and longevity?

Yea. Talked to a local shop and they quoted me $700 for the parts and install on the 5100 fronts. Sounds like a good deal for what I want.

    Lifts and longevity?

Right now I'm leaning toward getting the Bilstein 5100 coilovers. Some of the retailers package it with shock absorbers for the back. Would that be to stiffen the back up to better match the front after putting in the coilovers? Also, nice looking truck.

    Lifts and longevity?

Thanks for the advice. It has 20" wheels, not air ride, and not ORP. I'm actually leaning more towards just leveling the front for now. What would you suggest for under $1k?

    Lifts and longevity?

Thanks. Do you have a recommendation on a spacer kit that is a little lower than the ReadyLift 3.5"? I think 2.5" or so would be perfect for me. Are the kits with replacement upper control arms necessary for that height?

    Lifts and longevity?

I'm new to the world of trucks and lifts. I'm buying a 1500 this week and I know I want to get a 2-4" lift. This would be cosmetic and not used for any off-roading. I'm initially drawn to the ReadyLift 3.5" kit as it is cheaper and seems simpler to install which would save money on labor as...
