I looked at the Trailboss but the only trim I want is the LT because the affordable Custom trim is too chintzy...
Have you noticed even though GM is saying they are hurting has the lease incentives in December on a 2019 ?
I have noticed this month (December), the incentives are not very good in my area (So Calif) - about half the incentives of November - any others experiencing the same ???
Has anyone seen the RAM truck locator page has changed dramatically ?
I can't find RAMs with Ramboxes under the Exterior filter.
Does anyone know why ?
Interesting data point!
Instead of waiting on the 3.6L Rebel, I am thinking of just getting the Hemi w/ eTorque to compensate for the slight difference.
For me, it's mostly urban driving where the eTorque will help with the start/stop and bumper to bumper driving....
Yes that is a huge issue for RAM.
The Rebel trim is very over rated and gets a lot less MPG due to the oversized tires, lift, and weight.
Should be interesting to see how RAM address MPG on both their Hemi & Pentastar engines....
I test drove a 3.6L from a local dealer who got some work trucks in ( Tradesman & BigHorn) and have to say the engine did not feel less than a Heni.
For urban drivers, I think it's perfect and for me who does not tow hardly at all and never hauls, the 3.6 works well.
It's tough though to find...
Lots of Rebels here in So Cal because the cost savings of a 2WD and getting that same look as a 4WD.
Many people never use 4WD in urban areas which is why 2WD is still around.
When I was cross shopping other brands, I saw more full sized 2WD trucks by Toyota, Nissan, Chevy and Ford compared to...
December hoping it's a better incentive month to get into a Rebel ?
This is a lease offer I made to a local dealer (Car Pros certified) - Ram Rebel over 6 months old with older Hemi eTorque engine pricing and sitting on the manager's desk - your thoughts - is it reasonable ???
That is one heck of a good deal!
25% off MSRP for a negotiated price is awesome!
Good to hear that RAM may increase incentives next week in December because I gave an offer to my local dealer for a Rebel.
The dealer this month said no but next month he thinks the incentives will increase and he...
I have been using CarGurus but not all the dealers show up.
CarGurus is great because it shows how long the truck has been sitting on the lot (for negotiations).
The Ram truck locator works better at finding one equipped the way you want.
Now I am waiting for the V6 Pentastar Rebels to show....
If this is a lease, the PenFed $1000 will not apply - I think it's a purchase / finance only.
As for the "Classic Protection pack" - that seems like a dealer add on and total profit for them - ask them to remove the fancy Scotch guard ....
A good strategy to wait till the last 2 days of the week.
Get to see which dealer is "hungry" for a sale that month?
I found 2 Rebels - one with Ramboxes and the other without.
Will go in the last days of the month for a deal.
Luckily I am not in a need now situation - I can wait - have a few...
