Those won't change your payload or towing capacity one bit.

The cooling system and suspension are exactly the same as the truck with 3.92 gears. Only difference is the gear ratio. It is however, a little bigger than I would feel comfortable with. I have the 3.21 and would probably limit myself to about 6,000 lbs gross. But, that's just me.

The cure is worse than the condition.

Haven't towed with it yet, but almost two years driving now and the worst I've gotten is 16.6 (back and forth to work 5 1/2 miles each way) and the best was 22.7 (highway). Pretty satisfied compared to my prior vehicle (Tahoe) which was about 13 and 18.

Don't know what part of Maryland you're in, but I just scheduled service yesterday for Monday. Marlowe Motors in Front Royal VA. Might be close to you. I drive 100 miles to get there because they have such good reviews.

Towing package does not include 3.92 gears. That is separate. I have the towing package and 3.21 gears.
