Got a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie and it's happened me again today in 90F weather. Plugged into USB console, my phone shows it's charging (indicating USB console works) but Android Auto won't work. 30 mins into drive Android Auto starts working. Bizarre The guy in replaced his USB hub with no luck.

Resolved. Battery should not be unplugged (negative disconnected) when disconnecting air dam. Not sure why. Works fine now.

I've no idea why it impacts the camera. I unplugged the connector for the air dam as far as I know. You can see the connector in question at the 5m0s mark of I did unhook the -ve terminal of the truck battery B4 unplugging the air dam and left it unplugged for an hr to reset computer. Maybe...

Unplugging the air dam deactivates the rear camera and other advanced functionality for me in my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie . I get the U11E9 code so hoping replugging in the air dam after clearing the code does the trick. Will find out during the week I guess if engine light comes on. Only replaced...
