I had this issue, it ended up being the rear glass -- was really strange since the back floor wasn't getting wet but they said it was running down to the driver side based on how I was parked. Swapped the rear slider window and the problem went away. I will say, it took 7 trips to the dealer...
ever figure out the whining noise in 4hi or 4auto? Mine does this and am starting to think its normal but my Gen4 was super quiet in 4hi so just checking with everyone on here.
I have the same issue in 4wd auto or high -- ever figure this out. Sounds like the TCase to me as it never happens in 2wd. Haven't had a chance to dig into it yet.
Ya, I was driving in a snow storm this weekend (3+ inches of snow and slush) and it sounds the same as the video above in 4w-auto. My 4th gen didn't sound anything like that, but everyone keeps saying its normal.
Did this ever get fixed? Was it normal? My 4auto does this and was going to bring it into the dealer to check it out. My Gen4 was never this loud but I had 3.55 gears maybe the 3.92 are louder.
I'm on my 2nd Ram and have been debating a Vararam for about 8 years in total now between the two trucks but live in New England and figured with the snow and winters it wasn't worth it... I see you running it in the snow. No problems with that?
Hey Everyone,
Just changed the pads and rotors for the first time and everything I can find is saying the caliper bracket bolts should be at 75FT Lbs. The gen4s were ~130ft lbs .. 75 seems pretty weak. Just checking what everyone else is doing.
I also got the brake moan kit direct from Mopar...
