My wife caught me taking a photo of my truck and just shook her head 😅 here's the Carli commuter lift with rebel rear springs in my Laramie with trx take offs and the 0.25" wheel spacers. Rides nice.
I don't have a Rebel, but I have trx takeoffs on a Laramie and used a 0.25" spacer (didn't extend the lugs), and used Mopar A arms and there's enough clearance. I think if you use aftermarket A arms that protrude closer to the tire you might need a bigger spacer.
This is the bulletin I had done for the small dull popping sound I would feel in the driver floor going slow out of driveways while turning. It fixed it.
I had a small clunk I could feel in the floor on the drivers side when slowing and turning out of a driveway shortly after buying my truck. End up being a body mount bolt being a few mm to long I believe and pressing into the body. Took asking a few dealers to fix it as they said they had to...
I liked my sprint booster because of how simple it was and it was small and didn't use the obd port. The problem was for me was that it failed at 3.5 years and was a little scary in that the accelerator went in limp mode with all the dash lights, etc. Just pulled it out and it went back to normal.
I have a 2019 Laramie and got TRX wheels and tire takes offs, have a 2.5" lift in the front and only 0.25" wheel spacers and there's no rub on the tire on upper control arm. My upper arms are the Mopar lift ones that are the same size as stock.
I chose a 0.25" wheel spacer because I didn't want to install new extended lug nut studs. I would say if you're going to use aftermarket a arms, they might stick out farther and you might have less clearance to the tire so 0.25" might not work, so I stuck with Mopar a arms. We'll see how long...
One other note, there's 3 spring options for the rear. Mine is the non rebel (least tall) spring. Their description is accurate that this spring is for no weight in the bed. I have a folding tonneau cover and without the spare tire in the back of the bed and without a box of stuff that's about...
Highly recommend filing a claim using the Ram website. It's easy and takes 5 minutes, but outs you in the que to escalate your situation. There's various levels of authority at ramcares. My experience has been you need to have a claim in the system to keep elevating it. Also, if your truck is in...
I installed the Carli Commuter kit (new version, not Fox) with TRX takeoffs on my 2019 Laramie crew cab 4x4. Meant to write a more comprehensive review, but hit me up with any questions. Got the full 2.5" or 3" in front and 1" in back. Front is stiffer, like digressive but not completely sure as...
Hi, thanks for the write up. I'm considering something similar. Are the 1/4" spacers still working out without any rubbing or vibration issues? Thanks!
Yes, ORP would be the off road package with the 1 inch longer springs. Some people use the ORP springs with the Mopar lift in the front to make it higher in the front if their truck doesn't have the ORP package.
Hi Boa24, quick question. Did replacing the dash speakers change the volume balance front to back of the system (make front louder)? I'm worried the upgraded speakers will put to much bias towards front and if I fade it back it will be loud for the kids I have back there. Thanks!
