It's all about personal preference. I prefer the look of the smooth surface of caliper covers as opposed to the textured surface of painted calipers. If I could get the same smooth appearance by painting that you get with caliper covers I would definitely paint. I still haven't pulled the...
Very nice. Any idea how different the letter size is from the front grill RAM? After seeing how nice yours came I'd like to match my grill RAM if I ever pull the trigger on the intake
The install was relatively easy following the thread. As I understand it, the surround is more involved. Also, I spent less than $60, including the camera and connections (I already had the AlfaOBD) as opposed to how much the surround upgrade would be. I would like the 360 surround on my next...
I followed the Front Camera Thread
Adding OEM Front Camera?
and added a front camera just under the A in the RAM on the grill and tied it to the Cargo Camera on the 12" Uconnect. I'm happy with how it came out except for not getting the darn thing centered under the "A".
Now I just want to...
How did you seal the paint? I like the clear bra idea but I have a ceramic coating on my Ram and I don't think the clear bra material will stick on top of the ceramic. Plus, the front end is already damaged by 50k of driving so it probably wouldn't be much use on my truck. Maybe the next one.
I'm looking into tuners now to see if it makes sense to do that with the new exhaust and possibly new intake. Trying to figure out what is entailed with tuners and what would need to be done for dealer visits.
Ok, now that I have had it for a while I no longer feel it's too loud. I love the deep rumble and am very happy with it. I have been thinking about adding the Mopar Ram Airflow intake and am wondering how that will effect the whole sound, if at all. Has anybody done both the Borla Touring Cat...
Wow, that's tight. Looks like whichever shim or none I decide to go with is going to be the right one because I won't be going back in to change it LoL
Thanks, I plan on installing under the A in RAM like has been done by others. I'd hate to get it in there and have to change the shim as others have said how difficult it is to get your arm behind the grill if not completely removing it.

You're welcome, the problem with these exhausts is volume is very subjective and what seems loud to me might be quiet to the next guy. I have never had an aftermarket exhaust like this so I may not be the best guage
I tried to upload a video but couldn't figure out how. I used a decibel meter app on my phone and the highest reading on got with stock on cold start was 83, the touring came in at 93 at loudest. I listened to as many internet clips as I could and was leaning towards the S Type but went Touring...
