    36k miles manifolds cracked

I'm working on it. It seems like its about getting the right person on the phone. The manager at the dealer said I must return to the other mechanic and ask him to get the invoice from RAM showings its the original part. I'll go there on Monday and update the thread in case anybody else goes...

    36k miles manifolds cracked

RAM took care of it and picked it up this morning. Things really started moving along after we spoke with the service manager. They got me a new rear window and exhaust manifold. Wallace RAM in Stuart, FL did a good job and I'm feeling better about the RAM brand again. As for the mold smell, I...

    Not great at towing

I moved from NY to Florida with this 6000lb boat. Inside the truck is probably 1k lbs of stuff and another 1-2k lbs inside the boat. 1200 miles, 9-10mpg at 65mph. 3.92 gears. Wishing that I went for a 3/4 ton with a diesel, but it will do for now. Maybe trade up when my powertrain warranty ends...

    36k miles manifolds cracked

Found out why the CPO wasn't showing on their "DealerConnect". She asked the mileage, I said "36,000 miles" and then it didn't show. I spoke to the dealer in NY and he said "you can't enter 36,000 because it will only show the factory powertrain warranty. you have to put more than 36,000 and the...

    36k miles manifolds cracked

The plot thickens. The RAM dealer in Florida doesn't have record of my CPO powertrain warranty. They told me that it doesn't cover manifolds anyway, so thats a fight for another day. But I have to find out why the dealer in NY sold me a CPO but didnt give me the warranty. I called a few times...

    36k miles manifolds cracked

I'll go to the dealer again today. I already have an appointment for May 6. I did research before buying the truck, but I am frustrated by time frame for repairs. To get appointments has always been 1-3 months out. I'll ask if it's possible to get reimbursed at least for the part

    36k miles manifolds cracked

It's my understanding that power train warranty just covers engine or transmission failure. When I called RAM customer service they said that there was nothing they could do about it.

    36k miles manifolds cracked

2020 RAM 1500 with hemi, 36k miles. It started shortly after my CPO warranty expired. 2 cracked manifolds. The mechanic charged me $830 to change the passenger side with OEM manifold. Have to bring it back for the drivers side. Back window also leaked while I was away 3 months. Moldy carpet...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

I just called RAM 1-800-334-9200, I couldn't have been nicer and the guy was rude. Said they don't cover consequential damage. I also told him about the leaking headers and I explained that there wasn't appointments within the warranty time period and he was argumentative with me, saying it was...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

"We want to sell cars but you don't have time so I don't have time" It was really ridiculous. I looked at him like he's crazy "Really? Come on, I just want to see the car if I have any interest in it and I'll come back later when I have time. I'm working right now" and he went to get me the key...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

I went there, they said that I need to pay $180 diagnostic fee and they will put water on it. May 6 is the earliest appointment. Then they will order it and don't know when they will receive it. I said "we can go outside and pour a glass of water on it, it will enter immediately" and she said it...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

Update: So I have the extended warranty on the rear glass, but there's a backorder on both the rear carpet and rear glass. No ETA. Dealer has a customer driving 6 months with tape on his back window. I did a claim through geico and went to safelite. Safelite says they don't have the glass so now...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

Oh ok. I put my VIN on the mopar website and I just have the CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED LIMITED WARRANTY (CPW710N). I called the local dealer and they said it only covers powertrain.

    Replacement Rear Carpet

I never go for extra warranty because I fix everything myself. The last time I brought my truck for warranty for an exhaust leak they told me they don't have the capacity to fix it in a timely manner. Ended up doing it myself.

    Replacement Rear Carpet

They clarified that its on backorder and there's no ETA. I think that tomorrow I'll try the other part number on eBay 6VV071X7AA and see if it matches. They didn't. I bought my 2020 RAM 1500 as CPO so the warranty is out. I put it through my insurance and safelite will replace it, so they have...

    Replacement Rear Carpet

I tried ordering from BAM Wholesale parts and they emailed me saying the carpet isn't available. Unbelievable that a 2020 truck the carpet isn't available.

    Replacement Rear Carpet

My mom had my truck the past 3 months with the rear window leaking and ignored the mold smell. I tried everything to get the smell out of the carpet and mats. They're ruined. I'm looking for the rear carpet part number 6VV091X7AA, I've found 6VV071X7AA on eBay but I'm not sure if the color is...

    Rear window leak

2020 RAM 1500 Laramie. Last year the 3rd brake light leaked and I put a different gasket thanks to info that I read on this forum. At the time, I noticed that my rear window frame had 2 cracks, but it didn't appear to leak. So I was in Colombia for 3 months and I just returned to the USA with a...

    Fix for 'Device not supported'

It does. It's an old mechanics trick that we used to do to reset everything. Even if you disconnect the battery cables there's still some charge in the ECU's capacitors that keeps all the settings. When you touch the battery cables together, you essentially short the system, and the charge in...
