Came from a newer Jeep Wrangler Sahara/Moab trim to Ram 1500 Rebel:
- Interior quality and comfort vs other truck brands
- MPGs rated just 1 mpg less than the Wrangler
- 33" stock tires that rival Wrangler's
- Ride height/ground clearance of >9 inches for SHTF or if I need to clear obstacles...
If dynos are correct, I see up to 15hp gain from intake, yet up to 35hp gain from headers upgrade.
That's what I meant by my initial comment of why do intake before headers.
Wouldn't upgrading the headers on the 5.7L be more beneficial than intake for the money all around (performance, sound, aesthetics)?
Air out from the engine seems to be more restrictive than air in, and headers are more restrictive than the stock exhaust.
