I have owned a '20 1500 for about two "miserable" years and 20k miles. It has been in twice and I've gotten the same response from the techs. It shifts fine. ...another time I was told that "it shifts like a truck". I asked the kid (I'm 54) if he owns "a truck". He sheepishly said no. This...
I do understand that the power to each wheel isn't necessarily equal. (no sarcasm in that statement) ...and when I say AWD, I mean the 4WD Auto. (I thought that the 4WD Auto setup was an AWD) But nonetheless, I would expect the traction control to fire off alot quicker than it does. ...and...
Hi,
So here's the situation... ...a '20 1500 with the 3.92 and 4WD auto. The truck doesn't have an anti-spin. (I had to buy this during the pandemic so the pickins were slim) Besides this thing spinning the right rear on dry pavement... (32k on the original Dueler HL' tires so they aren't...

I SUFFERED with the crappy shifting of my '20 from 18k (when I bought it) until now (29k). Long story short I had the same issue as the OP and many more shifting issues. The thing felt like a 15 year old learning how to drive a stick shift. After 3 trips into the dealer. Two of them, it was...
Unfortunately, I think that you're going to have to pull the seat to change it. When you do that, you may get lucky and NOT have to separate the seat back. you may be able to force the cover(s) between the seat cushion and seat back.
I have always used the rear slider to pass long items into the cab for transport. In the old days, the lower window seals were stronger to allow for this. (for as often as I did it with as much weight, they had held up) Well, in looking at the new windows, I don't think that I want to rest...
Hi,
Back in '21 the '05 1500 died and I had to go out and buy something off of the lot. So I've gone from a 6-1/2 foot bed to the 5 foot 7 bed. This means more of the longer items (wood, metal etc) now rest on the gate cove. ...and since Ram was nice enough to make these out of a...
