It will be interesting to see what comes of the tire sizes, Ill check mine (built march 2022) but if they switched tire sizes without warning due to stock shortages, There may be something had for MPG ratings and whatnot being incorrect from the factory. The smaller tires would need to spin...
Break in mode was just a reference. Some manufacturers used to set a pre-determined mileage or timeline and retard timing to help with easing the break in of the engine. after the mileage or timeline the unit would return to "normal" with an increase in fuel economy and power. this is also very...
ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS
For vehicles equipped with the 3.6L or 5.7L use the following engine break-in recommendations:
A long break-in period is not required for the drivetrain (engine, transmission, clutch, and rear axle) in your new vehicle.
Drive moderately during the first 300 mi...
GUYS!
I'm not new to vehicles nor am i new to hot exhausts, This was simply a question. Regardless of the fact that i burned my leg on the exhaust after the truck was running for about 5 minutes. I was hooking up the travel trailer and was (18") away from the exhaust, both my father and myself...
Hello All,
Quick question regarding my new 2022 Backcountry. 5.7L non-etorque ( 1400miles on the truck) I was hooking up a trailer after idling around the house and burned the back of my leg on the exhaust tip! left me branded as well as an awesome sizzling sound. after that i've been...
likewise! especially in a new pickup. 3 - 9/64" holes with 3 stainless screws hold these ones in. So far i am happy with it and would hope the bed extender would become an option on these trucks from the factory.
I purchased this one:

The fit and finish was good...
I added a bed extender to my truck. Coming from a 6.4 box, i had to do something to expand the space. It also is handy to be able not to lose fuel cans and propane tanks to the front of the box without it.
I looked at that also, unless the headlights come up for a decent price used, i think i will stick with these headlamps. the light output is pretty impressive with LED's Installed.
I purchased this truck off the lot June 30/2022. It was the most equipped truck for my needs without the crazy price tag. After all was said and done I saved about $15,000 off MSRP. much smoother than my previous 2014 ram 1500.
Had to install LED headlights as the original candles were a bit...
I run these headlights in both my 2014 ram and my new 2022 BC. love them.
