I lost the auto dim on my 2019 too, do we know what might have caused that function to be deactivated once the new mirror and bcm installed?

Can anyone help let me know when the truck is off and what position the AGS is resting in? (is the AGS closed or open). Thanks, I got the code and took it apart to replace the AGS actuator but not sure what position to put the "blades" back. Thanks

If you don't need the function of the AGS you can order a new actuator/motor off eBay for about 20 bucks and remove the 12 plastic clips to the cover on top of the radiator, reach down, and use a small flat head to remove the power clip, connect the new motor and zip tie it to the side, reset...

you are right, an extended warranty does not cover water leak. Calling RAM to see if they can step in.

I am suffering from the same issue with lots of rain recently, have an appointment at my local dealer coming Monday, it's under cpo warranty and I also brought the extended warranty so I'll see what's will be the outcome after I brought the truck in.

The analog camera worked just fine with the external monitor. I'll follow ProjectsInMotion thread to install it. I'll work with the oem camera next.

I didn't want to loose the auto dimming feature, work at night and drive about 40 mile each way, I hate those bright head lights 😀

That's what I thought after removing the camera from the LED housing. Another idea is to retrofit another camera in its place, that way I have one source for the cargo and another that point further up to see behind yhe boat.

I'll be the guinea pig for this project and see if it's possible :) because when I am towing my boat I can't really see much with the backup camera on the tailgate as it's too low. So far I got the LED 3rd brake light, Dual input monitor, Backup camera. I don't think there will be any issue...
