So here are the pics of a 275/65R20 (34.2") spare tire mounted underneath. This is the biggest tire I think you could mount under there, and it takes a little extra work getting it up in there. It's really close (1/3") to the track bar, and fits snug in the shields.
Do you think this is too...
Pulled the factory sub box last night after checking the polarity and found it to be out-of-phase* like the rest of the speakers** (see the other posts on this "phenomenon") - The really weird thing is that the sub terminals themselves were wired backwards (black wires were positive); I'm...
Finished her up today. Only war wound, and it was a big one, was a crushed/broken pinky finger (slipped a torque wrench with all my weight and my pinky took the impact...spent the evening last night in the emergency room).
Daystar 2"/1" mild lift,
KMC 22" Wheels with 285/55R22 Terra Grappler...
Can someone take a pic of their ORP equipped truck's front shock/spring at the exact position of the pic I have attached below (with the spring-stop facing the camera and the top-edge of the spring perch visible just above the spring)?? Huge help for me.
So I started the speaker replacement a few days ago.
I have the 10 speaker alpine.
First test was a baseline Speaker Pop polarity test with ANC "on" (as it is from the factory). I tested using an aux cable plugged between the phone and the radio, with mono test signal output turned on and...
ORP Front shocks and springs, topped with Readylift top-hat spacers (you can see them already installed)
ORP Rear shocks and springs
Readylift UCAs
Hellwig rear sway bar
My truck is measuring just below 2" of rake (probably somewhere between 1.75" and 2"), and the Readylift top-hat spacers...
If you have the Mopar 2" lift kit or 3.5" Readylift kit and haven't installed it yet, please message me! I have some questions specifically about the rear bumper pad spacers/bump stop spacers.
I'm either making my own (so could use some quick dimensions), or looking to grab some from someone...
I noticed that RL and RC lift kits don't feature a track bar relocation bracket, but I think at least RL's kit lifts the back 2" - but the Mopar kit has a rear track bar relocation bracket.
Is the bracket recommended?
Unfortunately my truck isn't here yet. I have some 285/55R22s waiting to go on (34.3"), and have a cheap 20" wheel I got for the spare area with the intent of having a matching height spare. I have access to get a really cheap used 275/65R20 tire, but I don't know if a 34" spare will fit under...
Was hoping someone can grab their part number off one of their front springs off the little white tab . Compiling a list of ORG part numbers and want to see if the front springs are also different from non-ORG trucks. Thanks!
What are the pros and cons of using a single strut top spacer that gives a 3" or 3.5" height, compared to using a combination of strut top spacer and pre-load spacer (like what comes with the RL and RC lift kits).
Obviously one reason the RL and RC kits come with both top and pre-load is...
Ordering my tires this weekend, and wondering if I should also order a new spare - because --- I'm assuming with a large change in circumference of moving to a 34.3" tall tire, I should consider changing the tire size of the spare as well. So I have two questions:
1) How close to 34.3" tall do...
Yes, I know it's subjective and personal opinion, but I read that Nittos (and other LT/10 ply tires) ride better, I read they ride worse, and I read they ride "unbearable"....compared to stock. Seems quite a disparity in opinions. I was originally going to be moving up to 22" wheels with XL...
First and foremost, I appreciate any feedback - this website (constantly searching and reading) has been an invaluable resource for me.
I’m planning to order a Laramie 4x4 short bed in as soon as a couple weeks (depending on some responses here) as my current lease will be up in April and...
I'll be placing my order for a specific 2019 Crew Cab 4x4 Laramie end of Jan/begin of Feb as my current lease will be ending in April. Will have Off-road and Air Suspension.
I've done alot of research and all it's really done is cause me some confusion. I've seen concern around being too close...
