    E torque charging issue

It seems that the voltage will fluctuate like that with etorque, which has no traditional alternator. The etorque motor/generator charges the 48v battery module, which in turn charges the 12v main battery. What you’re seeing is apparently normal with etorque. There are other threads here...

    Is this normal?

If he’s adding coolant above the MIN mark when the engine is cold he’s overfilling it and it’s getting pushed out of the tank. He’s checking the level with the engine cold and it’s at the normal level when cold (MIN). Mystery solved. We shouldn’t make a problem out of something that is...

    Hoping I am not screwed...

Sounds like you're essentially talking about implied assumption of risk. Which is a legal defense if it can be proven that the person trying to get compensation knew before hand and accepted the risk that something could go wrong. Such as when someone signs a consent form before surgery. You...

    Is this normal?

Like I said in my previous post, if it's expanding enough it gets pushed out of the recovery tank...onto the ground. When it cools back down it's at the MIN level. Check the level when the engine is at its hottest. It's just a theory from what I experienced when I owned a 2006 Nissan...

    Is this normal?

ls the engine hot or cold when you're checking coolant level? Does it ever go below the MIN mark? I'm with Pete in saying this might just be normal, but I don't think it's evaporation. I think it has more to do with expansion and contraction, and the fact that the engine will push out coolant...

    Multifunction Tailgate

So you’re saying you didn’t learn the first time. I see something like that along the lines of fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. :ROFLMAO: Hopefully you don’t do it again.

    Multifunction Tailgate

Wow, that looks painful. In the five and a half years of owning a truck with the MFT I can honestly say that neither the wife or myself have done that.

    Definitely non-etorque.

You said in your first post that it's non-etorque. Are you doubting that for some reason? Every etorque equipped Ram 1500 has stop/start, so if there is no button to disable autostart you don't have etorque.

    etorque removal - what’s involved?

For sure, you can turn it off every time you start your truck. I decided it was worth a hundred bucks to install a device that kept it turned off without needing to press a button every time I started my truck lol. Our current Ram 1500 doesn’t have etorque so it’s not an issue anymore for me.

    2026 RAM 1500 Hemi 5.7 recommended oil 0w-20.

There is very little difference between 0w-20 and 5w-20. The difference is at cold start, where the 0w-20 actually has a slight advantage. Both are 20 weight oils at operating temp. IIRC Ram made that switch for 2021 or 2022. My concern came several years back (with 4th gens) when Ram...

Is the 110 W inverter pure or modified sine wave?

    Thanks for verifying that. (y)

Is the 110 W inverter pure or modified sine wave?

I've read that it's modified sine wave, but I've never hung a scope on the output to check it. Now that I'm retired I don't have access to an oscilloscope.

Do you have the Sport hood or regular hood?

    Duratrac replacement

Tirerack rates the KO3's wet traction at 9 out of 10, just like the Falken AT4W's. It's your money, buy whichever tires you are comfortable with. But it does no one any good to spread unfounded rumors about one person's perceived experiences.

2022 Laramie with Multifunction tailgate - Bed cover options

Honestly, even if our 2020 Limited had the power up feature we would almost never use it. I can't tell you the last time either one of us opened the tailgate in the traditional way (lowering it). We almost exclusively open it barn door style because it makes getting things in and out of the...

    2018 2500 Cummings ABS lights

I don’t have an answer for your question, but what’s a Cummings? I’m just kidding but it’s actually Cummins (no g in there). The guys with the Cummins engine sometimes get a little defensive when people call it a Cummings. I hope someone can help you with this.

    2026 HEMI or Hurricane?

That’s the prevailing theory. I’m not sure anyone has actually proven that though. But if I was buying a Ram 1500 that I plan to idle a lot I’d go with the Hurricane. I think you made a good choice.

    2026 HEMI or Hurricane?

I see you’re hitting the bottle again tonight. Cheers :ROFLMAO: 🥃 🥃 🥃
