nothing out there is going to improve MPG worth the time and money. usually people buying large trucks have no concern about mileage knowing its poor before you sign. if you can't afford gas you don't need the truck
gas isn't going to stay at $4+.
if you're going by the computer current MPG...
if another phone connected right away then its not the uconnect system its your phone. uninstall AA and reinstall. also AA will not connect if truck is moving
map updates are 1 year old or more and called new. HERE which does maps for most of the auto world is really a ripoff.
tell what OTA updates these trucks get. i am not aware of any.
update glitches happen it was just your turn. what you have to go through to get the correct update for your truck is a little frustrating. that said the nav update as expected is crap and mistakes are in it that weren't in the previous map. HERE absolutely sux. google can keep up world wide...
if your trucks throw any lights or messages on the clusters when anything like that happens grab your phone and take a photo of it. dealer can't deny it didn't happen. they may not duplicate it but i'm 99.999% sure the codes are stored in memory.
16 lights? i'd turn the system off in that case. actually for even less than that...push the button. you aren't saving much fuel over letting it idle at the lights
my manual
We recommend you use API Certified SAE 5W-20 engine oil, meeting the requirements of the manufacturer Material Standard MS-6395 such as Mopar®, Pennzoil, and Shell Helix. Refer to your engine oil filler cap for correct SAE grade
odd if the filler cap says different than the 1st...
yes use correct manufacturer oil
get your money back on extended warranty...useless
higher octane is a waste of money other than what fca recommends...89
update comes on usb drive. one for system one for nav. i already had the latest system but you have to let it do its thing to find out and system update has to be installed before the nav update
the nav update is of course till outdated and actually screws up a few nav items that were correct...
don't call Uconnect for your problem. call HERE the map maker/supplier.
my mapping had issues. help desk figured out after 30 minutes it was 'offset' and fixed it OTA
map was clueless as to POIs like i was in a different country.
ram air suspension aero automatically lowers front 0.6 inches (does it really make a difference unless theres a lot of highway driving.) concern about mpg is my least concern when buying this truck:unsure:
some tiktok engineer dude claims if clicking off happens a lot just hold the nozzle upside down while filling the tank. no personal experience doing that
seriously? never ever heard of clogging from debris...ever
but its probably the nozzle at the pump. some click off quickly and some don't. some pump at a faster rate which is most likely the issue.
i finally got hold of someone @HERE and what do you know the Uconnect nav system in my truck was OFFSET. their terminology for F'd up. they did it over the air and now it knows things like where POIs are all over the country and how to get to them instead of hit or miss within 20 miles. even...
