same here they put the speed limit on a 70mph interstate to 45mph for a mile or so which should have only affected the truck scales but no it was correct speed previous year and they screwed it up current map
updated to 40.1 from file on this forum. unzipped to usb and installed with no issues.
the only change i noticed is that i got a quarterly vehicle update from RAM the following day which i haven't received in a year. other changes may have happened but i don't pay a whole lot of attention to the...
wasn't under warranty? anyway dealer install wouldn't lose truck memory i'm sure they bypass the system or some hookup to keep memory intact. probably not much more cost than doing it yourself and save a headache or bashing in a forum
updates are by HERE and does mapping for almost all brands world wide. they are always 1 year out of date and sometimes make errors that were right the previous map. i believe 2022 and newer now use tomtom which isn't much better in their directions. can't beat google on android auto where...
i'm cheap $100 dash cam from reputable amazon seller and plugs into cigar lighter with usb adapter at outlet dash tray with short cable and sticks to bottom of windscreen with supplied static plastic instead of directly to glass. video is perfect as most are no matter what the price. to each...

google maps is updated continuously just plug usb from your phone or get a $99 motorola or such dongle and use it wirelessly on your screen. uconnect/ maps is outdated system and ram uses tomtom now and thats just a step sideways. i wonder if since ram switched to tomtom uconnect is just...
late to the party but ram makes trailer 2 cameras add-on that integrate with the camera system. put them where you want.
or maybe a dash cam those mount anywhere and video screen can stay on all the time in most. there's a hundred models of those available
probably irritating to see that light always on but IMO the parking sensors are dangerous and a joke. only works when it sees space between 2 parked vehicles and the info screen can be blocked by steering wheel when telling you to stop etc. no reason why these trucks can't park themselves with...
