Or you could just drive around with your fogs on when the headlights are on. Your cornering lights will always be on and you don't have to worry about what other people think anymore. ;)
Abbreviations and acronyms are just a part of life. I'd expect anyone who's been around as long as you have would know that. Regardless, you can find the meaning of most acronyms and abbreviations by doing an internet search, as you mentioned. If that fails you can always just ask. I can't...
This thread has become obsolete now that what was going to be the REV has been cancelled and what was known as the Ramcharger is being called the Ram 1500 REV.

BAM has them listed, but it’s saying it’s only for the right side. Not sure if there’s a left and right since I’ve never seen one in person…

Thanks for the feedback on your 2022. It seems I was a little too quick back then to accept that it was as expected. I had a 2021 etorque Hemi at the time and I was glad mine didn’t behave that way even though I disabled stop/start lol.
Below is the thread I was referring to in my previous post. Maybe I put too much stock into what people were saying in that thread about a redesign, but I stopped following that issue since it wasn't applicable to me. It would be helpful if anyone who has a 2022 thru 2024 Hemi etorque would...
Thanks for the pics. When you say “same coolant” are you referring to the type of coolant or the two systems share the same coolant supply? I’m assuming the former and not the latter.
That’s good to know about. I’ve owned several turbocharged vehicles but none of them hade a liquid to air intercooler. I don’t really know anything about them. Am I correct in assuming that the intercooler coolant system is separate from the engine coolant system?
What model years were the other trucks you've driven with stop/start? I ask this because they redesigned the system for model year 2022 and up. I remember reading a thread from a couple years ago that talks about this behavior where it shuts the engine down before coming to a complete stop...
That’s fine, you can disagree. I’m going on my experiences with the Pathfinder I mentioned in my earlier post, which was doing the exact same thing as the OP’s truck with the Hurricane. I have zero experience with the new platform. But the OP hasn’t said anything about it ever dropping below...
If you value your power train warranty I’d stick with the recommended oil viscosity for your engine. It tells you on the oil cap and also in the owner’s manual. Deviating from that can potentially cost you if there is a warranty issue with your engine.
It seems that the voltage will fluctuate like that with etorque, which has no traditional alternator. The etorque motor/generator charges the 48v battery module, which in turn charges the 12v main battery. What you’re seeing is apparently normal with etorque. There are other threads here...
If he’s adding coolant above the MIN mark when the engine is cold he’s overfilling it and it’s getting pushed out of the tank. He’s checking the level with the engine cold and it’s at the normal level when cold (MIN). Mystery solved. We shouldn’t make a problem out of something that is...
Sounds like you're essentially talking about implied assumption of risk. Which is a legal defense if it can be proven that the person trying to get compensation knew before hand and accepted the risk that something could go wrong. Such as when someone signs a consent form before surgery. You...
Like I said in my previous post, if it's expanding enough it gets pushed out of the recovery tank...onto the ground. When it cools back down it's at the MIN level. Check the level when the engine is at its hottest.
It's just a theory from what I experienced when I owned a 2006 Nissan...
ls the engine hot or cold when you're checking coolant level? Does it ever go below the MIN mark? I'm with Pete in saying this might just be normal, but I don't think it's evaporation. I think it has more to do with expansion and contraction, and the fact that the engine will push out coolant...
So you’re saying you didn’t learn the first time. I see something like that along the lines of fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. :ROFLMAO:
Hopefully you don’t do it again.
Wow, that looks painful. In the five and a half years of owning a truck with the MFT I can honestly say that neither the wife or myself have done that.
