If it’s not a daily, and you aren’t tackling the rubicon trail on the regular, then 100% I’d be getting the long bed. It is a truck after all.
The whole reason for a short bed IMO is to make dailying the thing easier. But in the case of the extra 9” it’s not a huge difference anyway.
I went...
I Think that whether a quad cab offers enough space is dependent on what it’s for…
For a quick trip to the store? School drop off? Etc. probably.
If it’s your road trip machine, no one will be happy back there. Kids in car seats won’t fit (I tried) and while legroom is better than expected...
People really need to be scanning the codes themselves before taking it in.
Any chain parts store can for this free.
Possibly there are many different issues.
Possibly not.
Certainly sounds like they’re just making up diagnosis.
People have various thoughts about Bilstien shocks, but one thing they are certainly fantastic for is towing, and that’s what the Rebel has that a Big Horn doesn’t (assuming stock for stock).
Wonder if that is a difference maker in your confidence level?
Ford offers multiple tiers of B&O systems in their vehicles, AND overhauls them every couple of years too. So comparisons are very difficult.
For instance I’ve heard the B&O Unleashed in the 21-23 F150 is outstanding. But their Middle tier is also a B&O system (“Leashed” I presume?) and is...
I think BD is trying to diversify since the writing is on the wall for diesel. Hopefully their reputation and quality follows.
I used them on my F150, no complaints.
I had a feeling, I think one such 3.6 misfire report right on this here forum.
An understanding of which, if any, hard parts changed on the 3.6 is surely an analysis already done at corporate.
Should further implicate a software issue vs a hard part problem.
Which admittedly doesn’t really...
If you want to go Bluetooth then it has to work. No dropped connections, plenty of bandwidth, no latency. A problem with either in the middle of a flash can be bad.
MX+ has been exceptionally reliable for me in this regard for a few years.
Going Bluetooth is just a preference. I don’t like...
Hmm fuel pump eh? High or low pressure I wonder. A log of actual vs desired fuel rail pressure would be revealing.
So these misfires/check engine lights- are they only happening to you guys at or near WOT? Or does it happen say just tooling down the highway/part throttle?
Yay now we’re cooking.
If it were me I’d clear the codes, then swap the ignition coil from cylinder 5 to any other cylinder and see if the misfire codes return. If they do, see if the code follows the coil to the new cylinder.
If so, probably a bad coil - perhaps they got a bad batch.
If...
Ram Limited payload ratings may indeed be notoriously low… but so to have Tacomas ratings always been laughably low.
If you didn’t have any weight carrying issues with the Tacoma you sure as heck won’t with the Ram.
