I have the base audio, wanted to try something cheap for better sound. So installed the kenwood 6x9 +3.5 component set and JBL 3 ways in rear 2.3ohm. Found a Infinity dsp amp on ebay, factory refurbished for $79. At work last night, I used a anc ch01 harness, connected the wires from radio into...
Thicker rubber gasket or a strip of butyl rope will seal it. Just do not tighten down all the way, snug it up on warm day, wait a few days and tighten more. If you try to tighten too much can crack the plastic. I put aftermarket on my 13, but after a few years the smoked plastic turned almost a...
Already added Bilstein 5100s front and back, new side step, sumo springs in rear and misc interior pieces. Now working on audio, jbl 3 way in back, kenwood 6x9 + 3.5 component set up front and in next week putting in a infinity dsp amplifier(found one for $70 on ebay factory refurbished). Going...
My 285/60r20 10 ply tires rub, way i found out is the metal tab was stuck on my tire lol. So will be doing the heat gun etc soon. I have Bilstein 5100s on front 1 level below max height. Wanted to have a slight rake, when only puck was on truck there was zero rubbing, but front was too high and...
I did get the bilstein 5100s, feels great on road, then other day was backing out with wheel turned and have at times the tire barely contacts the liner, grrrr. Now i need to raise front a little more. I told the shop to have front around 3/4 to inch lower in front than back just to give me...
I would make a trap door on wheel well liners to be able to access the low beams before I pay that much. I was quoted 500 to install aftermarket headlights.
My 21 DT 4x4 qc bighorn gets rubbing in reverse with 285/60r20 10 ply open range tires. I had puck to level and no rub, but installed bilstein 5100s and did not put quite as high as the puck, now rubs in reverse just barely.
Had a puck on my 21 Ram QC 4x4 bighorn, when I bought the Truck. Has 285/60r20. Ride was bad due to puck and no dampening, so got bilstein 5100s all around, I told shop to make front slightly less than back a inch or less. Now I have rubbing I noticed today when turning wheel and backing up...
I have the 3.5 infinity up front, stock door speaker, jbls in rear doors. But I notice this low kinda scratch hiss with most music noticable to me at least, from 7 on volume all the way up. Thinking might be the low 3ohm in dash and 2.6 is ohm stock 6x9, could possibly be noise added from under...
I am ready to upgrade my 21 Ram base audio. Infinity also makes a 4 channel dsp amp, but is 35 watts @2ohm. The infinity is tuned with laptop, like traditional dsp, but the bonus on the infinity amp, it has rca outputs to run other amps etc. With the dash speaker being 8 ohm and around 3 ohm in...
Try checking Schrader, always worked perfect in my Rams. They do have metal heavy duty, just not sure if for our trucks. The moresensor or fitsensor are metal, but garbage, some lasted me a week, others 4 months. Funny thing is the trailer tpms sensors for the Ram are metal lol.
I had this worry and looked at many posts when I bought my 2021 Ram a couple weeks ago. Any of the Ram 1500s should tow under 5k no problem. When you get to more weight like 7,000 pounds you don't really want the 3:21 or v6. I ended up with 5.7, 3:92, tow package, tow group with trailer steering...
