Sorry about that but it was overcast and crappy so I couldn’t get a good picture. It’s fairly low on the box so I’ll probably try a plastic care product to see if it makes it look any better.
Anyone know how to remove or touch up a scratch in a plastic glovebox? I had an incident and have a small scratch in my glovebox that’s driving me nuts. Any ideas appreciated.
I recently mangled the plastic front air dam on my 2019 Limited. I bought one from a local dealer and it looks a bit different than the one on my truck. The original dam is straight across the bottom but the new one has sort of a cut out for lack of a better term. The parts guy matched the part...
What a ridiculous waste of time. They should just walk out to the parking lot with it swap it out and do whatever paperwork they need to do after you leave. Shouldn’t take more than 5 mins of your time.
I feel bad for you but I’ve been there. Mine was in the shop less than two months after I bought it for an etorque battery issue. Took weeks to diagnose then weeks to get the part. It spent almost two months in the shop. Best of luck.
I experimented with what you suggested and haven’t noticed a difference. FYI, while in for service on two separate occasions in the past few months I showed the issue to the Service Manager and more recently the Service Advisor I was dealing with and both said they don’t believe it’s a hardware...
Couldn’t agree with you anymore. I have never and would never use an air freshener. They mask odors and once you introduce one into the vehicle it’s always lingers. I detailed cars on the side years ago and the air fresheners people used were gross. Keep the inside windows clean and the interior...
Any suggestions on new tires? I actually liked the ride of the stock Bridgestones before the vibration issue started but want to explore a better quality tire for a replacement. Any help is appreciated.
Glad to hear it worked out for you. I guess I need to explore tire options. I actually liked the Duelers up until now. First I’m going to see what the dealer says. Maybe I’ll start with balancing.
Maybe that’s the problem. It sucks that they were fine up until now and I only have 12,000 miles on them so far. I had no issues with them so I hate to think I have to buy new tires so soon.
So does anyone have a definitive answer to the vibration issue or is it specific to each truck? My truck just started doing it with 12,000 miles on the Bridgestone Duelers. It starts at about 80mph. Never happened before. It seems like resolutions are all over the place. Tires, balancing...
