I also asked this question awhile back. It's going to take someone going on a GM forum and getting the offset numbers. I've been too lazy, but it does significantly open up the craigslist/facebook marketplace used selection. I wonder if the Hollander book or Discount Tire etc would have OEM...
Wow, what a weight difference! I also look for weight, but I've never seen this spread much before. We may complain of trailer sway, but of course the SL tire is rated for 5300+lbs on the rear axle, when the axle itself is rated at 4100lbs. At full axle load, the tire is not affected at all by...
Not trying to knock on you, but you stopped in the wrong spot on the scales, and didn't get enough info on trailer and rear axle weights. If you do try again, watch where you stop and look for the joints in the scale and get an axle in each section. Just an FYI so other people may take note of this.
You'd think some very savvy header co' would've had this going years ago for all the warped and cracked Ram and Chevy crap out there. Coulda been cleanin' up.
The PSI is also tire dependent, which changes with trim and even years, so that obviously is what those tires on that GVWR vehicle require. OEM works in conjunction with tire mfrs to determine the proper PSI, just ask Firestone! You ought to see the Rebel and TRX PSI. I go lower than my sticker...
This probably doesn't help with your question, but I got it negotiated into the new car price for free, so when it came in, it just went to the service dept. Yes, they are OEM, and the mechanic didn't know if the receiver would be present or not, especially on a tradesman, but it was, so it was...
Probably! 😄
In fairness, I did use the website from FCA and got very accurate listing for my VIN, so it worked at some point in the past. Might it be connected to the 2025 Build site not working today either?
I feel this really should have been a complete one shop dyno tuned cam and tune install. You don't hear problems like this with Hennessey type places. Might be hard to find a shop everywhere in the country, but they are around. Might have been a real inconvenience and drive, so I understand the...
You don't need to swap out the brakes, just throw away the assembly line holding screw and put never seize on the hub face and diameter.
You wouldn't believe this, but on other forums, people argue that you must put a screw back in the rotor at every brake job, even agonizing where to get it...
Interesting. My GMC bumpstops were on the framerail, and if I remember correctly, the Ram is welded to the inside of the rail? Might be a good explanation for that problem. I've never seen it on this site, and it's drastically bigger than the other.
Timbrens are harder than the softest Sumos...
