While you're looking at your manual, is the truck on the cover the same color as your truck?
I've always wondered if they matched books to trucks.
My truck is Patriot blue so is my manual.
Yes, Thanks for the post. I'm going to install the kit also in a couple of months.
As stated in the other post above, hopefully they've changed O-rings but at least I'll know to keep an eye on it.
That is quite complicated especially steps 6 & 7, but It's probably to ensure proper lubrication of stuff before a flat tow.
I don't think the dashboard trans disconnect is meant for long distance flat towing. It's an emergency thing.
Read the posts above and you'll find your answer.
I think it should be 13 to 14.5 ish.
Also check you're date of manufacture on your truck. If this truck was sitting around for a year you may want to insist on a new battery. The manual states if you are not going to use the vehicle for longer...
Regenerative braking is just a term they use. It has nothing to do with the brakes themselves.
Upon deceleration or braking the generator on the motor does the regenerative process, not tanything at the wheels.
Glad to help.
Also, I don't know if you've taken apart any other trim but there's basically nothing to break so don't be afraid to apply a lot of pressure, because it will take a lot of pressure!
Having two or three plastic tools to work both sides at once helps too.
Just use a plastic pry tool. I've removed mine for gateway bypass installation.
There won't be any reprogramming of anything being necessary if that is your concern. This will be a simple "plug and play".
