The RideTech shocks have rebound settings from 1 to 24. The compression is not adjustable. I have mine set at 12 (medium) which was their recommendation for common street use. I have been happy with it so far, so I have not tried any other settings. Setting rebound too soft will cause a bouncy...
Do your shocks have compression and rebound settings (2 knobs)? If it is only one knob, it is probably just rebound. This only adjusts the speed at which the shock expands, not compresses. You might need to go to 10-12.

When you loosened everything and then tightened it all back down, the entire load of the vehicle was on the suspension, right?

Wow, that bump stop bracket is definitely longer. You have got to be bottoming out constantly. Basically riding on the frame. Strange. Looks like they need to be cut down shorter and welded back on so you have a place to mount the bump stop.
I’ve used the Rockwall CDJR location a couple of time for warranty work, and they have been pretty good. Leaving my truck at a dealership is not good for my mental health though, so I perform all other work myself.
I’m not sure how well auto leveling would work since you will be retaining the coil springs. You would probably have to disable the system when you are not carrying a load. Usually the ASAMs are kept at a very low air pressure when not being utilized to support a heavy load. This way the truck...
That was me. The Haldex leveling valves that he was using in the kits had issues. He actually stopped selling them for that reason. Now, there may be another company that uses something better, but I imagine it’s still a pain to deal with. Maybe AccuAir?
The onboard air is convenient. I’d just run one line for both bags though and don’t mess with the self leveling. Been there, done that. It was a total headache and ended up trashing all the parts. Those systems are just way too finicky. Total waste of time and money. You can read my build...
