This is the 3rd dog solution I've tried since getting the truck in May. 1st was this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W597YC7 ) but the issue was that this gives over the seat meaning when someone gets in the car...
Up here in Vermont, most people park their cars outside. Garages are reserved for fire wood. Besides, I don’t have a garage. 700 square foot house on the lake, I only have 2 parking spots. I think only one house on my street has a single car garage.
funny enough, I actual roll my motoryccles...
It's actually a '95 K75 RT w/ ABS. I can take it back to stock pretty easily but here's how it used to look:
and how it looks now:
Best part about that bike is the motor. Inline triple and when it's running you feel no vibration. it's like a sewing machine.
Canvas Back got back to me in 15 minutes of my email. They totally understood and said they’d do a full refund. They said all of the high end cars are using a Scotch Guard on the carpets now and that makes their Velcro not stick.
I had the same setup as you but found it hard or just a pain when I had people need to sit in the back. I'd have to remove the dog bed entirely and pack it up for them to sit. With this setup, I can just drop one or both seats down and it's just a normal cab.
I'm going to return this though. I...
I have a dog so I run CanvasBack covers in all of my vehicles. They're awesome in hatchbacks / wagons. the material is canvas, very strong, water doesn't penetrate it and they keep the back area clear. These basically cover every square inch and they're custom for your car model & options...
Glad it’s working now. Pretty frustrating. I don’t have kids but I can’t imagine being on a cross-country road trip in the family-trucker and having 2-3 kids in the back on iPads that can’t play their video games or watch youtube. I’d be pretty upset. It is a paid serVice.
Some Math off the top of my head:
CanvasBack seat cover - $300
Mudflaps - $100
Big Horn 20” wheels + Winter tires mounted - $1500 (I swap my 22” and 20” based on the season)
Radar Detector + 2-channel Dashcam - $1300
ProClip + Wiring - $120
Weathertech Mats - $150
Heater block cable - $36...
Max 360C + BlendMount here as well. I’m happy with it. I added the smart controller that blinks a red light and that’s installed under my tachometer. Makes it easy to see the red flash when I have the music cranked up. the arrows are super helpful to know if ther’es a cop ahead or behind. You...

it’s been outside for two years and works every time I ask it to.
‘’I’ll test it out tomorrow to make sure it can handle it
Thank you for the video, Devildodge. I skimmed to the end and the Maverick indeed handled just beyond the max weight and it handled it. I don't load full motorcycles in my RAM And go off road. I just need it to get me to a motorcycle rally or competition so the off road handling isn't needed...
I don't know anything about electrical stuff so thank you for doing the conversion.
Here's what I got off Amazon that was loose:
Here's what Mopar sends..see more clips that fit perfectly when you're routing it up and mounting it into space:
I think one was $15 and one was $36. I'm much...
The Ford Maverick says it has a 1500 pound payload
The ford ranger is 1860
The RAM Big Horn on the website says it has a 2,020 pound payload (only 500 pounds more than this teeny tiny city truck)
How does a Maverick that's smaller than a box of matches have just 500 pounds less payload than a...
Just an FYI for people out there. my 2021 EcoDiesel has the Mopar Cabled hooked up to it (part number - 68357826AA) that I did myself. Mine came with the heater but not the cord and the official Mopar part is a much tighter fit with built in connectors that I liked much more than the stuff I was...
It was a great weekend. Headed a few hundred miles to my buddy’s house to do some motorcycle work and took the long way home today through Lake Placid. Took some photos on the roughly 7 hour journey home.
Sign on my buddy’s garage:
