I'd try unplugging it (with the truck off) and plugging it back in. Maybe just a power cycle will clear it up, if it's actually the Tazer. I haven't heard of this happening before with a Tazer, so I'm a little skeptical that this is the actual issue. My first guess is that some module got...
I don't run my Tazer married, so I don't definitively know the answer, but I don't see what the harm would be.
Are there any other things that happened recently to your truck that might be pertinent? Like, did you get your windshield tinted?
The link I provided above is the only public way to see the information, and that’s where I found it.
The little trick is knowing what VIN to look up. I wrote a program to calculate and search millions of possible VINs in order to find valid build sheets. The big trick is having to do it every...
Make sure your “friend” knows that this isn’t a bumper to bumper warranty. It’s an extended powertrain warranty.
@AnthonyRI - once the paperwork is done, is there anything in the dealer system that would confirm the extended powertrain warranty?
Yeah, the glove box has an annoying design flaw where there's a gap across the top (when open). I can't tell you how many times I've slid in my oil change paperwork, only to notice that it went into the gap and fell behind.
I've found Bighorns and Express/Tradesmen. Mixture of engines (Pentastar, Hurricane, Hemi). I haven't seen any higher trims than Bighorn, but I haven't had time to scan a whole other set of potential VIN ranges.
lol, no I don’t need one. But since you bought TRX wheels and had a driveshaft that looks similar to the aftermarket one I put on my TRX recently, I was just wondering.
Nice.
But to be honest, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. First, there are no "Last Call Editions", they're called "Final Editions". There were 4,380 Final Editions made. Of those:
1,358 had the standard TRX wheels
3,022 had the bead-locks that I pictured above (which are...
You should take a clear picture of them in good light. The more I stare at the pictures from the garage, the more I think you actually have the black beadlocks (from the Lunar and Havoc Editions).
Yeah, that's a great price - even without tires. But if you got tires with good life left in them as part of the deal, then it's a steal. Which probably means they were stolen.
Although having said that, are you sure those are Final Edition wheels? The Final Editions are more of a patina color. Your wheels look like the regular ones with paint-to-match beauty rings. Or maybe it's just the lighting in the picture.
