Lifter tick or exhaust manifold? 2019 Rebel

They might still cover it. My dealer service rep explained to me that anything replaced/addressed under the original factor warranty usually carries through. Two examples: - I brought my truck to them for multiple leaks when it was brand new. They checked the rear glass, 3rd stop light, drains...

REBEL DRIVERS SIDE REAR TRUCK BED DROOP

This was my first guess. If it's an air suspension truck, especially with some miles on it, a corner might be done/ruptured.

    Clunk no-more

From my understanding, the opening to slip them over the bar should point towards the front of the truck. As for the brackets, I'm not sure. But I believe I read somewhere on line that the front and rear bolts actually have different torque specs? I could be wrong. What I will say is the...

    Clunk no-more

Sorry, ended up really busy with work. I am going to have to measure my sway bar with calipers and get back to you. I have a 2019 Ram Rebel and it seems that there might have been a change in sway bar size. Only way to know is probably to measure your sway bar diameter. Then I can get you the...

    31K miles engine torn apart

Not to rain on your parade, but no, no redesign on the lifters/bearings. There's a good video on YouTube from a guy who seems to work mostly on hemis and the part number from the pre-5th gens for the lifter, into the 2021 (at least) is the same. Here is the video:

Check for sludge in your Radiator overfill (5.7 Hemi)

Mine was low around that mileage. I added and now it's been fine. Mind you, I added the correct 10 yr 150,000mi 50/50 pre-diluted coolant from Mopar which is now, a different color (OK to mix the colors). My theory on the gunk and low coolant: - First off, these are semi-open systems. Lots of...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Might as well make it super dark I suppose.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I'm in NJ so it doesn't get quite as hot. Do you notice it cuts down on the light a lot? I love the pano roof but always keep the shade closed because I get crazy glare in the cab.

    Just curious

2019 Ram Rebel - 67k - Owned since 9/19 - Driver's side mirror defrost didn't work - replaced under warranty - Broken exhaust bolt mid stream (after cat, I believe) - fixed under warranty - Dead battery - replaced under warranty - Etorque MGU - replaced under warranty (same time as battery) -...

    Clunk no-more

The Energy Suspension ones have both zerk and non zerk shackles. I am going to buy the zerk shackles. Your clunk may also be due to the need for longer end links. I just did Bilstein 5100's on mine with a 2" lift setting. I am noting a little rough/banging ride in the front. I don't know if I...

Check for sludge in your Radiator overfill (5.7 Hemi)

Yup. Seems to be the case. I've always changed my old oil and it comes out black/brown color which is not indicative of oil. In OP's case, you would imagine it might have started to manifest as a milkiness in the oil.

Check for sludge in your Radiator overfill (5.7 Hemi)

Did you notice any milky oil? Mine had like this sort of "dusty" residue in the coolant tank. I also noticed my coolant was low at one point. I've read this is common because it's not a completely closed system. Usually with a bad head gasket you'll get some milkiness to the oil and/or steam...

    Clunk no-more

I didn't realize, you were referring to the end links. I was referring to the frame shackle/bushings.

What did you do to your Ram today???

What's involved with the vapor can? I'm actually hoping my driver side manifold goes before 9/26 and 100k in miles. I'll probably get to 9/26 first. Really would like that covered under warranty.

What did you do to your Ram today???

In all seriousness, if you read the federal regulations, it's 80". Here's an interpretation: https://www.nhtsa.gov/interpretations/nht80-426#:~:text=of%20the%20basic%20vehicle%20design,inches%20due%20to%20the%20tolerances Any vehicle over 80". Unless they aren't counting fender flares, our...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Sheesh, sad state of affairs. At least I can now justify to my wife all the insane, over-the-top, maintenance I've been doing on my 2019 Rebel.

You are blessed to have the truck you have. Hold on to that bad boy.

Like I said, I'm not sure. Here is a video from only 2 weeks ago.

There also has been rumors Dodge is going to surprise everyone with a new Hemi release. I won't hold my breath. It's been heavily pushed online though. Orange valve covers. The only vehicle they are saying may get it though is the Charger Hellcat.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Well is it just going to be the "Rebel" then? Our trucks were basically a "pseudo-Raptor" (God help me for saying that). So is this what it ends up being with an increase in performance. The TRX is basically just no-more, I guess. I dunno. In another life I'd have gotten a TRX to have. I...
