His point is fair. Their business is applying PPF (and I think ceramic coating as well). They don't do paint or body work. Asking them to "try" to do passable paint touch up and expecting good results is tantamount to going to a body shop and asking them to apply PPF. It's not what they do...
I had a local body shop treat the chips with the touch-up pen. I figure he had a better shot at doing a good job than I could.
The touch-ups are not invisible but it looks better than the chips. Now I just need to make it another week without picking up more chips prior to the PPF appointment.
One would think, but it's not listed.
Ctrl+F search of the window sticker yields three occurrences of "Sirius" as shown above.
The build sheet though shows "SiriusXM Radio Service." No term listed on the build sheet.
These are the three SiriusXM services listed on my window sticker.
Interesting that there is no listing (that I can find) for six month "trial" of the the regular radio service.
BedRug mat for RamBox Bed.
I had the full BedRug in my Silverado for 10 years and I'm a big fan but decided to try just the mat, since this truck has factory spray-in liner.
Way too soon to draw a conclusion but I think BedRug could have put some more Velcro on the mat, closer to the edges.
Eureka! When Craig at Koons did my acceptance walk around, he told me the "traditional" key was unique only to the bed extender/divider and that only the key housed in the fob would unlock the driver's door and the RamBox lids.
I specifically recall my incredulous reaction to this. It...
What's the pricing for Guardian and is it negotiable as well?
I'm not even sure how many months of Guardian were included in the purchase of the truck.
I'm not following the full-parking lot logic.
Are you suggesting you leave the boards extended when parked to try to keep other cars from parking too close?
Thanks. I guess there's a distinction that can get blurred between the vehicle only plans and "all access" plans.
I did the "free" ($2) three month extension yesterday and that effectively changed my plan to "all access." I'm now able to stream on Alexa and via the phone app, etc.
Worth...
I've had the truck for a month. I can't say I've noticed any need to alter my normal flow of entering or exiting the truck in order to wait for the step to deploy. It's there when I need it.
I was on the fence about ordering these and I can say I'm 100% glad that I did. Great option!
I'm...
I did a 900+ mile fly 'n drive to purchase my 2021 Laramie Sport. By the time I made it home, I'd already acquired a few pinhead rock chips on the front bumper/fascia.
I've made an appointment for PPF. I obviously have no interest in having the bumper repainted on a four week old truck with...
I have a 2021 Laramie Level 2 which includes a six month trial of SiriusXM and a 60 month "trial" of SiriusXM Traffic Plus + SiriusXM Travel Link.
They are offering three months of "free" SiriusXM All Access but of course, there is a $2 fee which requires submitting credit card info and...
I decided to go all in. I pried-off the the old bezel and I'm glad I did. I didn't want to hack-up the brand new bezel by attempting to remove only the emblem. It wasn't very difficult. The hood is some kind of plastic, so it's pretty forgiving.
The OE black looks so much better than the...
It's not as bad as one might expect. Just go slow and I'd recommend using fairly rigid plastic pry tools that have a good curved "pry" end. I used some painters tape to protect the hood.
I pried free the outside corners first and then as far back toward the center of the hood as I could...
