for what its worth, there's several folks over on hptuners forum that have been trying to get the "truck" 8HP's to shift like the challenger/durango/grand Cherokee units, and if someone has in fact figured it out, they ain't sharing!
Jimmy07 - do you happen to have a BCM log for a 2022 GT or a...
hmm..maybe trans/tcm changed for 2022 trucks?..my 19 shows a different transmission part number. but now I want to check again. I thought at one point I changed the bcm settings from ERS to Autostick, and when I logged, trans was still using the ERS maps. maybe I missed a setting.
I know if...
The bigger issue after adding the paddles, either just adding the plate & paddle from BlackFoxIndustries to factory wheel or a whole TRX wheel swap, is you will not have auto-stick shift maps, because our TCM's don't have them (we have ERS instead). I'm following a guy, Scott Chapin on Tuned...
Bought one a few weeks ago and returned it, did wierd connection things, not consistent, laggy during calls, gps, etc, and would randomly start auto playing while driving if I had FM
according to the wire harness on Connectors.dcctools, active air dam wires up to the PCM not BCM. Couldn’t find any active air dam parameters in BCM/Alfa. I removed mine and was looking to disable it. Alls I come to with is deleted the C0406 and U0645 SES codes from PCM in hptuners. Think...
I just started messing with hp tuners and logging shift types. I’m going to try using alfaobd to enable some sport modes and see if it actually changes the TCM shift maps or not. I’d really like a sport mode as well. Paddles would be cool, but only if the TCM will interpret them as autostick...
Does anyone have a error after using the $10 antenna? Mine is working, ie I can open the tailgate while locked, but I always have an Antenna 5 short circuit/open error stored in my rf hub.
I have both, I like j-scan its a fast and easily organized to find things, but yes DT not technically supported yet, so if you are using a profile for a DS truck, some of the things dont work or do what they are suppose to. Thats not to say you can't screw up stuff easily with alfaobd as well...
yes, mine is the sloppiest engage, disengage of previous ram trucks I've owned..also owned jeeps back to 1946 cj2a, and even that shifts in an out nicer. my front driveshaft, specifically the rzeppa joint has blown up twice on me during 4x4 engagement..and its not like dont know what I'm...
yeah I have some long, slow roads in and out of my neighborhood, and I hated the constant enable / disable feeling. if it weren't for that, I'd probably be fine with it.
