which option (replacement, buy back or keep the truck plus cash)?
I did not proceed with my case. In the event of replacement/buy back I would take a $8K hit for mileage.
Odd occurrence for me -
2025 Big Horn, 14000 miles on the odo.
My primary and secondary batteries were replaced around 10,000 miles.
Went shopping this morning, no issues.
Came back home, 30 minutes later, opened the door, and no lights came on - dead as a doornail. No lights, or sign of life...
I think this s...t is not an issue with the hardware, but, communication to the stupid mothership. It is way too random in occurrence.
and, an issue across all Stellantis crap.
My issue (UConnect error) has been back for couple of months --- getting sick and tired of going to the dealer multiple times with no fix.
was the update over air? did you get a notification on the screen?
Agree - I fudgesicled up and bought my truck without paying attention to the door gaps on the passenger side. I noticed it the next day, my dealer sent me to the body shop they deal with and it was fixed.
I'm glad that you're getting great deals these days.
Since my 2019 truck was totaled in May 2024, I had to buy another truck. In May 2024, the best I could negotiate with all dealers in the PHX metro area was 64K OTD for a Big Horn level 1.
Carlos had to make 20 billion - 7 B went to the...
Not sure about this plan.
I bought the Essential care for 3 services through May 2027 (Oil, filter, tire rotation) for $225.
My dealer charges the same price for only one service.
It is a good engine --- I don't give a **** about most of the useless/uneducated proclamations about this engine's possible failures. All engines fail at some point.
Straight six engines have always been the source of torque.
Tourbos are here to stay -- they may fall apart same as other...
Yep - the shifting sucks, I have had many so-called tranny flashes and still it is not smooth.
BTW - my MPG @ 12000 miles so far is about 2 MPG better than my Hemi. Same routes/speed/driving habits.
Hemi is good. Sounds great.
Hurricane is light-years ahead of Hemi from a performance perspective -- especially the HO engine.
Return of Hemi is a stunt by Stellantis to bring the brand off the cliff of extinction.
RAM fudgesickled the electronics for 2025 MOY. I have had countless UConnect...
I know that this is an old thread --
I had a Laramie 5.7 hemi from 2019 - 2024. Always used 91 (I know this is mostly irrelevant).
Worst MPG - Purely city driving was around 14
HWY - depending on speed was 19 - 21
Towing a 6K trailer at avg speed of 70mph was around 12 MPG. This is going from...
The issue is not the engine, so far compared to my Hemie it is leaps and bounds better -- the problem is the total redesign of the electrical architecture without any testing in 2024.
