So, are you saying that if you don't get the rapid response update and don't have the tuner that all HO engines will melt their catalytic converters. That sounds a little absurd. The HO engine has been out for 3 years running in the Grand Wagoneer.

Agree -- all my previous turbo BMWs I could feel a noticeable difference in octane usage. I got my HO hurricane to stomp it frequently!

I'm jealous as I have the JB4 but not the exhaust. Mine's a lease so I can't modify the exhaust -- hopefully they'll put a better exhaust for my next lease.

I tried that as well and it says my software is up to date. There's no way mine hasn't had an update since September.

I'm enjoying every drive. This engine can handle it -- it's way overbuilt, and put together for turbocharging. It can handle it for sure.

I've had my Limited since September of '24 and haven't gotten any OTA updates that I know of either. I wish there was a way to initiate the update through the Uconnect system instead of going to the dealer to get the process completed.
