    What did I break?

Electric parking brake actuator motor mount? Looks a bit big for that but I'm not sure I'm seeing the correct perspective from the pictures.

Has anyone DIY'd spark plug replacement?

check that...the socket is a spark plug socket specifically, made for BMW's but is quite handy otherwise.

Has anyone DIY'd spark plug replacement?

Got plenty of wobblers and swivels...is that really the extent of the "challenges"? If so, I'll have a go this weekend.

Has anyone DIY'd spark plug replacement?

I'm at 114Kmiles and getting a slight bit of stumbling at idle. I know I'm a bit late on spark plug replacement so thinking that might help. Searched the subject, came up empty, so I'm curious if anyone has done this yet and how difficult it might be. I know the actual replacement job is...

    Hear a loud bang

Never heard of such a thing happening. Is there any detectable point of impact? Maybe a rock from an oncoming vehicle once you passed by?

Considering a Ram 1500, but concerned about reliability... New to 5GenRam

I have a 2019 Laramie with Level 2 and Advanced Safety Group, and other options, so pretty heavily loaded for a Laramie. I have 110K miles on it and the only issue so far were the leak at third brake light is and one of the exhaust headers cracked. Runs great, still on original brakes, burns...

    Aftermarket power running boards?

Whether MOPAR or AMP PRB's, they both drop a fair amount lower than any fixed running boards, and stow higher up too.

NEED QUICK ADVICE Please - Transmission fluid level checking.

FWIW, I sent both the service doc and the "green" picture, which are the instructions for a new ZF tranny that you might order from your dealer. I asked ZF if they would clarify the difference between the two docs. My current working theory is that new transmission installations may require...

NEED QUICK ADVICE Please - Transmission fluid level checking.

So on Wednesday I reached out to ZF directly. I am attaching a doc to show the exact exchange I had with them. Do with this what you will. For me this issue is put to bed. I followed their instructions and for two days and 180miles my tranny is running at 185 in town on a 94 degree day, and...

NEED QUICK ADVICE Please - Transmission fluid level checking.

So this right here is exactly the problem. some say level the transmission, some say level the vehicle. Even ZF documents say two different things. This is so frustrating.

NEED QUICK ADVICE Please - Transmission fluid level checking.

thanks, i watched. here is yet another nod toward leveling the vehicle, not the transmission itself.

NEED QUICK ADVICE Please - Transmission fluid level checking.

CONFUSED..PLEASE HELP. I'm in the middle of the fluid replacement. In researching this job some say to raise the rear of the truck to get the transmission perfectly level, which requires the rear tires be off the ground by 9 inches! If I watch the many videos, not one single video for ANY ZF...

New Member - Research before Buying RAM

FACT. I sleep a lot in my ram due to long drives...I raise the headrest and use the pillow and its amazing how soundly I can sleep in my Laramie. OP - I'd also agree that looking for a Laramie with the "Laramie Level 2 or B" package and Advanced Safety group is plenty cushy, techy and...

Weigh Safe WDH - Drop length on a 1500?

Yeah, we both prefer the recliner seating idea over the dinette...especially in the Rockwood that's what we're thinking...this gives us time to decide if we want to be a bit more full time after retirement, at which point we'd look into something a bit more 'luxury'. And yeah I get your point...
