Seems like the problem is now happening again after having the part replaced last year. Hoping to figure out if it is all the same issues as last time and see if the dealer can replace again. Anyone else have this issue again after a replacement?
Not sure how this compares to other deals going on right now but I bought a 2023 Laramie 4x4 6'4" with more options and an msrp of just over $70k for just over 52k. It was a factory order and the deals were really good because Ram had 10% off Laramies but still seems you might get a better deal.
No idea on brand but the place that installed my topper used a standard tailgate seal kit to fill in those gaps and I don't seem to have any issues with dust from gravel roads etc.
I have a 23 and the only time I turn off the proximity sensors is when towing (rear sensor) or if doing real off-roading. I don't have any trouble with backing out of the driveway (my 2019 always braked and had to be turned off) or 2 tracks or gravel roads or in fields or trails etc. Seems...
Had a 25 Laramie SST delivered to my shop today as a rental truck and it happened to be almost identical to my 21 Hemi so made a great comparison out the drivetrains. Both are Laramie 4×4 CC with the bigger screen etc. My truck is a long box and has a topper so heavier than the 25 by several...
Just to clarify for those discussing EV's the Ramcharger is not an EV - that truck is the REV. The Ramcharger is a series hybrid with electric drive motors and a battery but also a 3.6L pentastar that acts as a generator to charge the battery and provide power to the electric motors. If the...
I think a series hybrid like the ramcharger could be a great patrol vehicle since it has huge range between the battery and engine and if it was not in service 24/7 could be charged overnight a few times a week and likely rarely need gas. Like others have said upsetting may not be an issue...
Yes and it is an easy job you can do in the driveway. Might take you an hour or more the first time but I've done it 6 times (3 on and 3 off) swapping from truck to truck and am pretty quick now!
I can't help you with a seat that converts from rear to front to booster but I used Clek seats for rear and front. Not only are the shirt front to back but also side ro side so they fit 3 across better than most. The Diono is similar in dimensions. The Clek is crazy expensive but it is...
I think most people don't read the manual and many trucks are driven very hard on test drives during break-in and probably most a fine. This part of the manual has been updated a couple times as it was different for my 2019 then my 21 or 23. I figure if I wad able to do what the manual says I...
I've ended all my leases woth the dealer paying off the lease - makes it super easy and they do all the paperwork a d cut you a check or give you credit on a new vehicle. The dealer usually gets the same buyout or sometimes a better deal than you do.
Your post is a bit confusing because you say the dealer offered you 10k more than your buyout if you trade the 21 on a new 24 but you lso talk about the I6 which would be the 25 model. Either way as others have said if you are able to negotiate a good price on a new 24 with the Hemi or a 25...
This is basically the definition of a political statement :). I follow the automotive sector closely as a fleet manager and saw the global disruption of the supply chain and hit the auto industry especially hard given the global nature of parts supply chains. This wasn't caused by domestic...
There is just way too much factored into leasing to really discuss the details on a forum. Each individual situation differs and blanket statements like you should never put money down or trade-in or leases are more expensive than purchase don't always apply. I've leased a 2018, 2021 and now...
Reading the article on the 2025 changes I just noticed that not only did they remove the amber turn signals in the rear but apparently everything below longhorn limited now has incandescent taillights and front turn signal bulbs. Seems thos was a cost saving measure to include standard LED...
