I guess the worst part about the whole saga....the truck showed up late last night. It wasn't prep'd for me when I showed up this morning. Least of all, the dealer's "premium package" of BS hadn't been installed, yet they wouldn't back down at all about adding those items and charging $4500...

Thanks all...... With the knowledge that I've been absorbing from everyone here, I placed a new order with another dealer. Got my deal in writing this time. No Mark Ups....No BS. Got what I felt was a honest deal. As a plus, I was able to adjust my build a little bit. Ditched the Rebel...

Just placed a new order with them this afternoon. Got the deal I wanted when I placed the first order. Of course HB Ram kept saying no one would make that deal....no dealers would sell for under MSRP or without a huge markup. Now....back to the waiting game.

Dealer at the 11th hour decided to finally talk numbers. "we have a $10k Market Adjustment on all special orders" and a "premium package for $4500 added to every vehicle".....neither of which were disclosed at the time of order or any of the other 1/2 dozen times I contacted them. Bottom line...

And it went about as I expected. Greedy crooks. So now I'm moving on to the next dealer.

I'm the other way.....they were much more precise than my dealer. I had to use the info from Ram Chat to get my dealer to give me a more solid answer than "be patient, it's gonna be a while" or "it won't be here til next month" when it was scheduled to arrive in a matter of days.

Guaranteed Price $67,066........ Except when it's not. Kinda conflicting terms there. I also don't like that they tell you that you cannot put more than 20% down payment......WTF???

So I was cleaning out my Email Inbox when i came across this email I got last month. It has my name, zip and "private" redemption code. Curious if anybody had any success using this with the other codes that are currently floating around. Would certainly help on the cost of the new Rebel...
