I did just that.....after waiting 9 weeks, my truck showed up.....dealer tried to extort me for $15k.. ..took my deposit back....and walked away. Went to another dealer that afternoon, got the deal i wanted, placed the order....9 weeks later keys in hand. Totally worth it.

The only thing it affects is the dealer's ability to track your shipping truck. The shipping process is not affected.
