my '19 laramie remote start always worked after the uconnect ended. I have only heard of a few other brands that have made stuff like remote start a monthly service fee. the fix probably is use the key fob and not the phone.
I watched a video a cpl. months ago where a guy had visited a couple of ford dealers to see how well the electric trucks were selling and the two dealers he went to only had a few but they were 1 and 2 years on the lot and were all over 100K. he said at that time nationwide there was a 377 day...
I am amazed that 76,000$ for a 1500 is considered a good thing. Ahh the good ole days of 2019 when I bought a new 57,775$ laramie 1500 4x4 ccsb/ 5.7/ 3.92/ ORP/ 33gal tank/ e-locker/nav/ sport hood and just about every other option for 43,000$ out the door.
Architect. am slowly retiring tho. closed my office this year and just doing work for a few long time clients. cant quite quit, still need the income. traded our travel trailer recently for a 5th wheel and traded my '19 laramie 1500 for a '22 laramie 2500 4x4 ccsb 6.7 to pull the 5th wheel. I...
We drove mine many times to ski in new mexico at Taos and Red River. my '19 laramie was 4x4/3.92/33gals/ORG and did great in the mountains and on snow. I put the Helwig bar on to stiffen up the rear end when towing. better handling when not towing was a side benefit.
I have enjoyed following your towing story. had my own '19 laramie 1500 4x4 ccsb 5.7 with 3.92 and pulled our 28' 6000# travel trailer all over the place but traded our trailer for a 5th wheel and so had to go dsl hd and bought a '22 ram laramie 4x4 ccsb 6.7 to tow it. our old setup was great...
you can easily tow a nice travel trailer with a 1500. I towed our 28' 6000# travel trailer all over the place with my '19 laramie..BUT it had the 5.7 and 3.92 rear end and 33 gal tank and off road. I could easily cruise at 70 on the highway but of course gas mileage would suffer at maybe 8...
I swapped the sway bar on my laramie for the Helwig and I have it on the middle setting. It helped take some of the shimmy out of the rear end when towing our 28' 6000# travel trailer. I also run a few more # air in the tires and I have airbags on the rear which I put 25# when towing.
just about everything is way high now. just hope nobody swipes your catalytic converter. seems they have doubled in price. according to the money guys, all next year will be more of the same so may as well bite the bullet. swapping out the sway bar is a worthy upgrade. I shop everyday for a new...
I have 3.92 rear end and am glad I do. the truck has plenty get up and go and it is a great gear for towing. at 70 I think the rpms are around 1900 and when not towing I nearly always get 20 mpg if I stay under 80.
I have the sport hood..just for looks. as for the air box. there are other blogs about it. most say the oem one works well. out of habit, I put a K&N type filter in mine right after I bought it. I have used them for many years in all my vehicles. buy once and rinse out every year unless I...
I dont pay anything and I still get weather alerts on the screen..not sure why unless they are coming from siriusxm which I subscribe to. I dont have unlimited phone data so wont be using it for nav and besides none of the places I have driven to the last few years have moved.
I dont do much city driving with mine. bought for towing our travel trailer and for travel. I always get around 20 on the highway and I normally cruise in the 75-78 range. I mostly set cruise and I only use regular gas. YMMV
