The only code that would pop up was in the RAM app. If I checked using Alfaodb there were no codes present on the RAM app showed a very non descript code.
This thread inspired me so my air dam has now been removed. I had removed the active air dam several months ago and left just the AAD motor in place so not to get a error code in the RAM app. I painted the front of the control arms and cradle Black so it hides it really well. With the air dam...
Take off the hood insulation pad and pop out the vents(there are tabs on the edge of them). You will probably need some hood pins since I broke some of mine. I got them off of Amazon.
I used a water protection feature from my Scat Pack Challenger where there is a plastic cover over the abs pump...
The last time I enabled the performance pages they lasted 1 hour before they were gone. The Trailer app showed up out of nowhere and it has some gauges in it.
I drilled 3 - 3/16" holes in the AAD shaft and separated it from the AAD motor. Then bolted it back onto the 2 studs and attached the electric connection. No soft codes and the AAD is mostly gone except for the motor.
Me too I deleted AAD in alfaOdb and still got a code sent to the RAM app. I unbolted the air dam portion of the AAD bar and put it back on and no code is being sent to the RAM app.
I tried to separate the bar from the AAD motor by drilling out the indentation on the AAD bar but it would not...
I'm in the same boat like everyone else waiting on the part.
The workaround is to enable auto high beams and push the stalk forward then it always cancel on left turns.
To me it sounds like my Scat Pack Challenger in Auto mode it's rumbly but not obnoxious.
If you nail it passing under a overpass or in a tunnel it sounds excellent. The videos I've seen don't do it justice.
My 392 Scat Pack Challenger has MDS and 0W-40 is the recommended oil and be done every 6 months.
The 6.4 in the HD trucks also recommends 0W-40 so why not use that in the 5.7?
It would be interesting to see what those mufflers look like opened up.
Could be like the G/T resonators where the muffler internal piping doesn't have as many holes in it.
