I think that could have had something to do with it, the high winds and blowing snow forcing it under the shroud and into the hvac intake. Once turned on and warmed up it moves to the filter and clogs it right up.
Does anyone know if the recirc door stays closed if you switch from fresh to...
First I’ve heard of this, if it is the 12” uconnect I believe you can do a reset by holding down the power and tune buttons for about 10 seconds.
I also vaguely remember that the uconnect has a built in battery to save settings and what not if the main 12v battery power is lost. So removing a...
You do not need a data plan or to be connected to wifi for the truck to get updates. It is always connected to big brother FCA.
Can confirm 26.17 was the update I got last night in Ontario Canada.
Pretty sure I just got updated to the 26.17 in Ontario Canada. Had the update message pop up when I got home from work last night. Will check version numbers today.
It looked just like snow to me, all of the pleats were packed and some loose snow was on top of the filter. It happened suddenly and I had the fan speed on 4 or 5 while driving through blowing snow and whiteouts.
So many accidents and stuck vehicles in my area, I wish people would get the...
Has anyone had their cabin filter pack full of snow? Went through 2 Canadian winters with my 2020 and never had an issue, first snowstorm with my 2022 and I lost all air through my vents while driving causing my windshield to freeze up on the inside. Not very safe in -40 windchills and 50mph...
My truck reports similar oil pressures when it is up to temp and at idle.
When the temp is well below freezing and the truck is at high idle warming up it’s common for it to report pressures approaching 100psi, which I think is a bit much so I always wait for oil and coolant temps to come up...
My 2020 rebel had the tailgate ajar lamp listed in the build sheet, but it was not enabled and according to the dealer could not be enabled unless I had the multi function tailgate or parallel park assist. This is a bunch of crap as I went in with alfaobd and enabled it myself in under 2...
I typically only let the truck warm up for a couple of minutes, no more than 5, and only when it’s well below freezing. When it’s -40 and your truck has sat all night it’s nice to have a bit of heat in both the engine/tranny and interior of the truck.
There is a definite audible and air flow difference between defrost/feet and defrost alone on both my 2020 and 2022 rebel. I pretty much have to run exclusively on one of either settings once the temps drop to clear moisture on the inside of the windshield as I am bad for not remote starting and...
If your lights are set to auto the running lights will only be lit when the truck thinks it’s dark, have you tried turning the lights to a different setting?
If you did and it made no difference I’d check fuse F12.
Just got a pop up for a uconnect box update, says it’ll take 5 minutes. Didn’t say what it was for or any other details. Will post version numbers when it’s done.
Canadian truck with 12” uconnect 5.
I haven’t seen any grease fittings on a new vehicle since pre 2010 except for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I don’t think there are any on the half tons anymore.
