If your lights are set to auto the running lights will only be lit when the truck thinks it’s dark, have you tried turning the lights to a different setting? If you did and it made no difference I’d check fuse F12.

I haven’t seen any grease fittings on a new vehicle since pre 2010 except for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I don’t think there are any on the half tons anymore.
