Is the rumble coming from inside the cab or the engine bay? If it's inside, you may want to pull the blower motor and check for any foreign debris that could throw the blower wheel out of balance.
I had it on my previous 14' Grand Cherokee. I found that the remote range far outweighs the lag time of using the uconnect remote app for vehicle starting. Same on my current vehicle.
How much battery life do you need? I bought one like this years ago. Battery lasts around 18-20hrs. Can literally toss it into the water. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08X4XBB26?linkCode=ogi&tag=bp_links-20&ascsubtag=[artid|2089.g.938[src|[ch|[lt|
There's plenty of larger ones out there but...
Oh yeah, I'm familiar with the connections. Was just being a bit sarcastic. We don't see many trailers with that config over here with it being so flat. I'll pm ya to keep the thread clear.
Heck, I've got 35% ceramic on my fronts and barely feel the sun hitting bare skin in typical 95F Eastern NC heat. Sounds like they used crappy film as others have stated.
Around town I turn it off as it's very flat where I live. Nobody here knows how to maintain a constant speed. It's annoying and causes a lazy throttle response. Outside of the city or while on the highway, I generally let the engine do whatever it feels like.
Always been a Michelin LTX M/S guy on my previous Grand Cherokees. Went with the plus sized Michelin AT2's on the Ram. Does well for what I need them to do. Not as quiet as the LTX/Defenders, but that's to be expected as the tread is quite a bit more agressive.
I believe I've had mine 3 or 4 years. Bought it to use whenever I pulled the boat or jet skis. Only used a few times to change tires/inspect wheel bearings. Ended up selling those toys and purchased a camper. Have used it a few times for the same reasons. No issues at all.
I have a single axle travel trailer. This lil guy works great. Just check your axle clearance before purchasing. I've only used it for general maintenance stuff for the camper while in the driveway though. I have onboard air so don't really need a jack unless there is a total tire failure...
Crap. My bad. I do apologize. It's not the green button. It is the voice com button. Holding it down activates Siri only. You're not going to get an Android device to play well with CarPlay as it's an iOS based kernal.
If you physically plug in an iOS device to the vehicle, the vehicle interface will default to Apple CarPlay and Siri comes into the picture. Long press the green phone button on steering wheel for Siri access. A quick tap of same button accesses Uconnect. CarPlay and Uconnect will somewhat...
Got it sorted out. Plastic was clean, but appeared very dry, very dull, and was extremely rough to the touch compared to the rest of the wonderful plastic in the truck. Broke out the heat gun and 10 minutes later, looks like brand new.
It's just a wild guess. I'm an electrical/powertrain guy. I'd suspect it would have some sort of UV protection applied to it. Maybe it's just the way the plastic is molded that makes it shiny and smooth to the touch compared to what I'm seeing now. I am honestly not sure. I've revived...
