    Multifunction Tailgate issue

I have to close mine pretty firmly to avoid the "tail gate open" light as well. Works fine though

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I posted details earlier, but Including rebates, I got about 17.5% off on an ordered Longhorn. Just got it a few weeks ago. Man, what a nice truck!

    “2020” Price Negotiated From MSRP

I got 17-18% off MSRP on the Longhorn that I ordered. I think that is pretty good for a custom ordered vehicle that is exactly what you want. There may be better deals to be had the last couple weeks of November - on in stock trucks - but that likely isn't going to do you any good on ordering...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

ratchet straps, tow rope, firsts aid kit, fire extinguisher, jumper cables, and of course....duct tape!

How do you get the PenFed rebate?

As an FYI to those looking for great rates, Pentagon Federal is hard to beat. You have to be military, OR join one of their partners to become eligible. I became a member 15 years ago by paying a one time small fee to join one of the alliance groups - I don't even remember which one. Both new...

How do you get the PenFed rebate?

I just did this last week. No, you do not need to finance with penfed. I financed with Chrysler for the extra rebate (however, I will soon refinance it with penfed, as their rates can't be beat.) You go through "true car" via the penfed site. You will need to log in. It will create a unique...

    “2020” Price Negotiated From MSRP

Seems like Koonz is hard to beat. The $800 processing fee is excessive - but even taking that into account, it's still about $2k better than I got locally (I got about $2k under invoice plus rebates). However, where you are must factor in. For me to get to the East coast (one way plane...

    Multi-function tailgate unavailable to order?

Ordered a new Longhorn a week ago. Emailed dealer this weekend to see if it had all gone through ok. One of the options ordered is the new tailgate. Here is the response - "I just talked to my sales manager and he has a call in to our district manager. From what we are seeing there is an...

    “2020” Price Negotiated From MSRP

I got about 11% off MSRP, plus whatever rebates are applicable, on ordering my 2020 Longhorn. Unless they take it away, I will qualify for the $1000 conquest and I have $1000 penfed rebates, plus hopefully some black friday type rebates in November. I will post again in 2 months - or whenever...

    “2020” Price Negotiated From MSRP

I've gotten several local dealers offering around $1500 under invoice (plus rebates) for me ordering a 2020 Longhorn - that is about 2.5% under invoice. (plus any rebates.) Not bad - but I would sure like that 7-8% under invoice from Koons. However, I can't really justify the time & expense...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I've been trying to get email quotes for custom ordering a 2020 Longhorn. Most dealers seem reluctant - and of course want to talk on the phone or visit. Best I've gotten so far, and from a very close, low volume dealer to boot, is for 1% under invoice - and the offer to print off any current...

Why doesn't everyone join the American Paint Horse Association, Mustang Heritage Foundation, etc before buying new?

Am I missing something? About to order a new Ram 1500. I keep up on the MSRP thread. Discounts for 2020 are obviously not what the discounts for 2019s are going to be. Why doesn't EVERYONE join one of the associations that automatically gives you affiliate rewards preferred pricing? There...

What is the average/expected time between ordering a new truck, and getting it?

I realize the time varies, but is there a reasonable average anyone can give me regarding this? I plan on ordering a 2020 Longhorn. I don't need it immediately. I'm wondering if Ram will have good rebates/offers around Black Friday in November. So if I want delivery in November, when should...

    2020 1500 - any news?

I'm going to have to wait to order one until 2020s are the more "normal" buy, I guess. I was just looking at the pennfed $1000 rebate - which I can get - and noticed it is still only good for 2019. I will wait until the various specialized rebates start covering 2020 models.

    2020 1500 - any news?

That site is interesting, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I can't find the multi-function tail gate listed anywhere as an option.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

While there may not be a lot of cost difference between a loaded Laramie Longhorn, and a Limited - there are some standard features on the Limited that you may - or may not - feel are worth that. I specifically do not want power steps or air suspension - and would not want a Limited at even the...
