I'm retired and I'm nostalgic for chrome (maybe it remind me something.... [emoji3]).
When I was waiting for my RAM, the only thing I wanted to improve was the color of the rims.
That grey (like the photo by HSKR R/T) but shiny is what inspired me the most.
Then the truck arrived and I...
Dewey, reading your post I felt like I was watching a movie [emoji23][emoji23]
The things that you said, are "unique" experiences, unforgettable.
I'm also retired, but having never tried before it's better for me to stay and watch[emoji2373]
your ram (obviously) didn't have any problems...
it's incredible how some people manage to relax where other people would be afraid of so many things.... the cold... the ice that can break and fall into the water... the RAM that never wants to start again... [emoji33][emoji33]
Compliments, well done [emoji1377][emoji1377][emoji122][emoji122]...
To complete my previous post, I did a test at idle (I had never looked before) already after a couple of minutes my Ltd also reaches 230F (with 40F degrees air temperature).
This happened to me after 20 minutes of traffic in the city before opening my garage.
The interesting thing is that the...
Hi !
already on 5.7 the temperature reaches 230F for short moments (for example in city traffic) and now we are in winter !!
It might be right to write that these engines like to work hotter (let's hope[emoji33][emoji3])
my new truck (2022 ltd e-torque) is 3 weeks old and 4,000 km.
It runs ok and the coolant temperature (with warm engine) is always between 95 and 105 C. (203 - 221 F)
At 221 F the electric fan starts.
the dealer says everything is normal (no smell).
All this even today when the weather was...
8343kr, I ask this to understand: you are saying that by using the S&S normally the bearing lasts longer because it has some pauses in operation?
I repeat, just to understand (my english is not adeguate) ... I ask: "but doesn't a bearing become more stressed at the start of the rotation ?"...
that's the same thing I did!
I changed a Ford wildtrack (diesel EU) that was only one year old. I added the same amount as yours!![emoji23][emoji23].
the funny thing is that it was my wife who wanted to change for a ram!
in fact it's a whole other world [emoji1377][emoji2956]
I think it is another....
with the touch screen turned on, in this point which I have highlighted in yellow, a symbol appears. if you tap it, you see a small screen to turn on the seats, cool the seat and heat the steering wheel. just below that is a new synch button.
I'm not sure but you could try selecting the "synch" on the touch screen area under the seat and steering wheel symbol (this selection remain in the memory)
I haven't tried yet, but it's the only idea that comes to my mind [emoji2373]
thanks for the answer,
I imagined it but a confirmation reassures me because on European cars with smaller engine capacity, the steam is only visible when the engine is cold, or when the temperatures are below 0 C (30 F).
in any case when traveling there is not any condensation: my wife...
