I would say that is within normal operating temp. Have you ever serviced that trans? How many miles. Regarding the flat tire feeling that could be a number of different thing but as far as related to trans my mind first goes to torque converter.
For the very limited amount of towing and little weight I wouldn’t be too worried about gear choice. Both will perform just fine. I pull a 7k lb travel trailer with my 3.21 geared ram and it does perfectly fine.
I have done it, and continue to do it on leather without issue. To each their own.
OP asked how to get stains out mentioning he’s already tried recommended methods without success.
No clue what it costs to have it done somewhere, parts at NAPA will be around $450-$500. If you search around you may be able to find them cheaper. Maybe Ask a friend if they want to make a few bucks?
I believe the consensus is they will rub slightly at full lock, either zip ties or heat gun to manipulate the plastic inner fenders does the trick. Some info in this thread

To update this thread.
spoke to ram cares, they had me call uconnect and they walked me through 2 resets and pulled some info out of dealer mode (never knew how to access that) in the end they want me to take it to dealership… think I might just wait it out a while and see if it reappears…
