So, Im not new to cars but new to the Ram, I purchased a 2021 Ram with the 5.7L w/ eTorque, after purchase (of course) never noticed this because they would start it up and warm it up for a couple minutes before my three test drives but upon cold start up the driver side sounds louder and sounds...
Been looking around for some 20" wheels and would prefer something used and finding Ram wheels I like is a little challenging but I ran across a Wagoneer wheel set. Curious if anyone had or knows of any photos of the Wagoneer wheel on a Ram they could point me to.
Appreciate anything in advance.
I just purchased a 2021 2 days ago and last night upon a cold start up I heard what to me was like an exhaust leak/ticking near the driver side wheel well. I drove it for 5-10min and checked again and didnt hear anything.....
Now I read this thread and curious do I have an issue.
Question...
New guy here, but did you say there is a manifold leak issue with the hemi's? I just purchased a 2021 Laramie and when I started it I thought it sounded like it had an exhaust leak near the front driver side wheel well.....drove it for a min then checked again and I could not hear it....I...
mikeru82, whist is MFT?
I did find the payload lower then I expected at 1301# but a non air ride with 3:21 gears and 5'7" bed still on 22" wheels was only at 1443#. I would only tow a boat/trailer no more then 6k# but will people and gear in the vehicle I would be coming close to limits but...
Well I think I found a diamond in the rough with the combo this used vehicle has. I was looking for a tow capable ride that was smooth for a daily driver. It has a 6'4" bed, I dont care for the 22" wheels but figured I can sell/trade with someone on Marketplace
I don't know I drove two vehicles days apart only difference between the two was the 6 ft 4 in bed had the air ride suspension and the 5 ft 7 bed did not and I thought it was a noticeably different ride much better with the air ride
My1stHemi, thank you for the quick lesson and person thoughts on your ride. Personal feedback is what I am looking for.
Mikeru82, I thought the air ride has been a little longer but also realized that if it was equipped on 4th Gen then I am looking in the wrong section too.
I think the closed...
Hello, I am on this forum to learn more about a potential purchase.
Been scrolling through but haven't found much info about the air ride suspension longevity. Seems the most I found was 2019 models had either pump issues, valve issue or sensors which seems understandable parts to fail...
Good morning Ram community, I wanted to say hello as I am a potential 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab 4x4 with the 5.7 HEMI/eTorque combo, 6'4" bed and air ride suspension owner looking for feedback on forum like this trying to inform myself before ditching my GM and moving over to the Ram side...
