I'm the suspicious kind (that's what you get when you are an accountant for 45+years). I'm wondering if there is a way for your dealership to start broadcasting CEL codes to various vehicles when business is slow. My CEL reader stays in the truck ever since I had a dealership in Ca. insist my...
So I noticed my windshield washers quit working the other day. The pump was working but fluid was leaking from the bottom of the plastic liner under the hood. I remembered we had a hard freeze a couple of weeks ago. I had visions of ruptured lines under the hood due to the cold. Pulled the...
I just received an email to do a map update on my 2021 with 12" screen. I've had the truck since 3/31/21 and I haven't updated it (unless it received something over the air).
All I know is that it doesn't correctly give me the correct route sometimes.
Has anyone done this update? Results...
I was planning on going with the 7yr Unlimited Mileage. Mopar is quoting $4,035.00 with a $200 deductible. I've had issues with 3rd party warranties in the past but open to a good deal from a reputable company.
Yep.....I believe it was designed for the Wankel Rotary Engine so the engine bay was very small. Problem with the Wankel was very poor mileage and oil consumption....just ask any owner of the first Mazda RX2's.
Exactly, how many folks do you know that have a good car, or refrigerator, or just about anything? There was a study done some time ago and it seems that for every positive comment, there are 27 negative ones. This study was done way before the internet so I'm sure it's even more out of whack now.
Nice pan. If they would just add a way to mount a dipstick it would be worth 2x as much. That would allow you to check and add fluid without crawling underneath. There was a guy that did just that for the GMC Canyon/Chevy Colorado V-6 and he must have made a fortune. I'm sure the market is...
Our transmission is used worldwide in who knows how many vehicles., same for the engine. They probably put the drain/fill bolts in the model they were given and left it at that. Not defending engineering at all. If you are angry at this, you probably didn't experiance some if the idiotic things...
Wrong. The t-stat rating is when it is supposed to start opening. If the t-stat is sticking, you will not be getting proper circulation and the temps will run above whatever is considered normal.
I would like to know how an electronic sensor in the tank can cause a mechanical pump nozzle to malfunction. Sounds like more dealer BS to me.
I've got a '21 with the 33 gallon tank and I've had this issue with very few pump nozzles.
I've got a 2021 White Lonestar with the Night Edition Package and my handles are body color. No chrome on the truck but I think they would look a bit out of place blacked out. They would really stick out against all that white.
I remember reading an article some time ago that said your oil filter will trap just about all products due to their micron size being larger than that of the filter. Personally, I've never put anything in an engine or gas tank except Marvel Mystery Oil....Yeah, I'm very old school.
This is what I do also. I looked at this but it would void your warranty. Pulsar 32451 Pulsar Module
In theory, if you take it off before returning to the dealer for any warranty work, but I cannot get a definitive answer for the company or anyone else.
As my name indicates, I'm probably one of the older guys here (turned 70 last September). What I did over time was to rip every CD I ever bought to a wave file at the least compression available. My collection is on my iphone, ipad, laptops, you get the idea. Just plug it into a usb port or...
I couldn't find one either so I just used some white-out and a #2 pencil. That worked until the first time the buyer cleaned the interior. He is really mad for some reason.
