Wrong. The t-stat rating is when it is supposed to start opening. If the t-stat is sticking, you will not be getting proper circulation and the temps will run above whatever is considered normal.

I would like to know how an electronic sensor in the tank can cause a mechanical pump nozzle to malfunction. Sounds like more dealer BS to me. I've got a '21 with the 33 gallon tank and I've had this issue with very few pump nozzles.

Why don't you use the switch on the lower part of the dash? You have to reset it every time you start up but to me, that's not too big of a deal.
