They're adapters to replace the rear air springs with a shorter Firestone air bag. You'll also need an IHC Cut kit to relocate (center) the rear axle at the lowered height. Along with drop shocks and shorter sway bar links.
You're correct, the factory air spring will bottom out. That was my first attempt using the aftermarket ride height links. I do have a set of Flufdks adaptors ( 3D printed ) which he graciously sent me a few years ago. I never used them to this day. If you like them I can ship them to you. I...
What's required to charge the air system? I have Nitrogen tankwith a regulator. I also are using Alphaobd. What adaptor / special fittings if any are needed to fill the system? Where is the system filled from? There is a manifold on the passenger side above the frame behind the rear wheel...
Unit turns back on and runs for about 3 minutes and then turns off. It then restarts and runs for 3-4 minutes then turns off. Anyone else been seeing this? It's been fine for 3yrs until the other day.
Has anyone used or installed the drop control arm brackets from either Bell Tech or IHC? I have a 2019 Lohnghorn with air suspension that I'm lowering. Looking for user input. Thanks
Great stuff, looks awesome. When you have parts available for the rear bags I would like to get some from you. What kind of issues if any did you have with charging the system? Is there any special hardware / software needed? Contact info if needed [email protected]
Thanks, Mark
Again looks great, who's lower control arms did you use? Any concerns with CV joint angles? Are you still making parts for the rear bags?
Thanks again for sharing.
Mine has started acting up also but the starting location was the same both times (it appears to be not picking up the current location ). It eventually came back and seems to work OK now. It is also a 19'. Please let us know what it takes to fix yours.
Thanks
Looks great, again nice work. I did talk to Steve @ Timbergrove the other day about his products. He thinks his bags would work with the factory compressor and ride height sensors. Probably looking at the -4" bag as I still need to tow a 16' box trailer. Please keep me updated on your progress...
That looks great, nice work. Where you able to use the oem compressor and ride height sensors? I'm currently just running the adjustable links and the rear at Aero is pretty tight on the bigger hits. Really need to get it at least 1 or 2" lower for what I'd like. I see the bump stop brackets...
I can see were the front might work but what do you with the rear? I just installed the adjustable links and was able to lower both front & rear 1 1/4" at Entry/Exit. But I had to pull the bump stops out of the rear to get there. As it is at E/E there is only 1/2" clearance to the bump stop...
