I haven't really noticed this on mine but I'm coming from a 2500 and I always flipped the mirrors out when towing with it which was several days ago week so guess I'm just use to the big mirrors.
From my talks with the parts mngr as long as they were both the non powered folding non memory they were direct fit looking at his computer....of course we all know dealerships have never been wrong ...
I almost purchased a bighorn but didn't because it didn't have the tow mirrors. The salesman and myself chatted with the parts dept manager about what it would take to swap them out and the parts came to about $700 but all parts showed backorder with no eta. This led to me buying the warlock...
Not sure a lithium as the main battery would work in our truck. A 12v lithium requires a diffrent charging rate than a lead acid or agm. Would also have to be a heated battery or incorporate some sort of heated compartment for the battery to charge properly in frigid Temps. The tech on these...
11.8 is practically dead. A fully charged 12v with no load on it should read 12.8-13.2 . I've seen some other threads around about a parasitic drain occurring on some of the new trucks sounds like yours may also have this issue.
With 2500 miles on the new warlock lifetime avg is 16.9mpg. Not too bad it has roughly 100 miles of towing time with my boat @ 5k lbs and 250 miles towing my 18ft open car hauler with up to 6k behind it between trailer and load. I have hit 20mpg on a long highway rd trip watching my speed...
With the factory manifold being integrated like it is im not sure the typical aftermarket catless downpipe type setup will be an option on these. I'm thinking that would require a whole new manifold and would be $$$$. Would also require a tune and that's likely to be some time before someone...
It's a 3.0 TT Inline 6 it's going to sound similar to a 2jz if the exhaust is setup similar. Guess I'm in the minority here that thinks those sound pretty good. Maybe the butthurt that it's not a v8 is a little too much for some.
I'm not going to vote for the person that was appointed instead of voted on by the people in a primary election. If that's how we are going to start doing things then why even hold an election?
25 warlock with 3.55 gears avg 19mpg through the mountains of WV. 1100 miles on it so far. I averaged 22mpg on a 400mile highway round trip to central pa.
I have yet to put more than 5k behind my 25 1500 but that trailer is roughly 29ft long and it towed with ease. Friday I'll be loading my 10k gvw dump trailer to the max with manure and hauling it 90 miles from our family farm to my home should be a good test. The dump trailer is only 12ft though .
I had to look up the tow rating on a 21 1500 and max was 8290lbs that's a regular cab 2wd tradesman. I'd upgrade to a new 1500 with an 11klb+ plus tow rating certainly don't need a 3/4 ton for 7700 lbs. Maybe if you planned on towing 7700lbs every day but not a few times a month to go camping...
