What really grinds my gears is the timing of all this. I have just under 40k miles on the level and it has all been good.....until the right UCA gave out the other day. At the time that it happened, I thought to replace both sides with forged options, but couldn't afford to be without the truck...

Mine squeaks with wheel bounce or body rock. But it only started after the right UCA replacement and subsequent alignment.

It better not be!

Changed the right UCA two weeks ago, now hearing a 'squeaky squeaky' somewhere on the left side of the front end. 🤦‍♂️

I just thought of doing this mod for the heck of it. But I don't think I want to spend $60 CDN for the 2 days per year that we go above 25degrees C. @Dogpatch might want to consider it. I know his neck of the woods can get pretty toasty sometimes.

I ain't doing that, obviously. It's now a matter of finding a suitable and affordable replacement.....and navigating the rough waters until that replacement is found. I think I'm most stressed by the unavoidable reality that I will have to be sharing my truck for a while. 😭😭😭😭

Engine and tranny xrapped out at the same time. Well, the tranny is still operational, just slipping. The engine blew head gasket and died.

Trying to wrap my mind around the 17k repair estimate that I got for my wife's car. ....a car that we paid 5k for last year.

Dealership just called: Broken UCA, 1000km outside of warranty. My summer funds just took a hard hit.

I had just gotten off the highway less than a minute prior to this. My 25 minute highway commute (one-way) could have taken a dreadful turn if this had occurred 75 seconds earlier when I was merging in front of a big rig to take my exit. Y'all can say what y'all wanna say, but its stuff like...
