    Maps update failure!

Yes. The USB drive is formatted for FAT32. Have tried it all, again. Still getting the same error. Any more ideas? Or is there any Technical Support I can contact for support?

    Maps update failure!

I am trying to perform my first map update on my new 2023 Big Horn with 12" screen. Have had no issues with the Navigation, just want to update the maps, which are currently March of 2022. When I put the thumb drive in, it asks if I want to update the maps. Then it warns me it may take 30...

Ride Comfort 18" wheels Vs. 20" wheels

That is what I was expecting/hoping to hear. :)

Ride Comfort 18" wheels Vs. 20" wheels

I really don't like the look of the 20" wheels that came with my truck. They are all black, which I hate, and I don't like the look of "big" wheels. So I want to go with 18" wheels. If you have some relevant experience here, don't the 18" wheels, which result in more side wall length, result...

I have Rebel 18" x 8" wheels. How much wheel spacer can I use without having to change the Lug Bolts?

Does anyone have all 4 Part Numbers, for all 4 corners of the vehicle?

    Portable air compressor

:) As I said in my post, you will not believe how much nicer the ride is, on a logging road, when you air down the tires.

Changing speedo for new tires after lift 23 bighorn

While the method described give you a good measurement for the true circumference of the tire, it does not reflect the actual circumference of the tire when it is on the vehicle and sitting on ground. A better method is to measure the diameter of the tire from the top of the tire to the ground...

    Portable air compressor

As a backup for a flat tire, I don't recommend an air compressor. Carry a "real" spare tire. However, if you are wanting to air down your tires to get more traction and a way more comfortable ride when off the paved road, then, Yes, a compressor is great for when you want to air back up before...

Pedal commander - yes or no?

I don't have one on my Ram, but had one on my Jeep Unlimited Rubicon for many years. Here are my thoughts: It was absolutely reliable. Never had any issues or stange behavior. If you set it in one of the more aggresive modes, it will really negatively affect your gas mileage. It is really...

Lack of User Privacy controls in new vehicles

The link, below, is to an interesting article by Mozilla (the non-profit makers of FireFox Web Browser) about the near complete lack of personal data privacy controls in ALL newer vehicles. Mozilla Article

Engine dies on new truck at 6k miles

A catastrophic failure at 6K miles is unheard of. Sounds like a complete lack of lubrication. My "guess" and its only a guess, is that when you took it to the dealer for the oil change, they drained the oil and forgot to add new oil.

What's with the oil catch cans?

If you are not anal enough to regularly check and drain the can, then DO NOT get one.

What's with the oil catch cans?

Just installed a Mishimoto can on mine. It is beatifully engineered and built. But it was the much larger capacity than the other ones that convinced me to buy Mishimoto. I hope to be able to go an entire oil-change cycle, and then empty it when I change the oil.

Anyone done a 1 inch front leveling kit?

I am a new Ram 1500 owner so others may correct my statement here, if I am wrong. Whether you lift it 1" or 2+" the process is the same. That is, it requires that you completely remove the struts and either 1) put a spacer above the spring, or 2) replace the struts with adjustable or longer...

Spec. tire height Vs. Actual tire height

In my experience, tires are NEVER as tall, when mounted, as the specs. say they are. Currently, my 275/55R20 tires (20x9 wheels) are supposed to be 32" tall. They are actually 30.5" tall. What factors affect the actual tire height when mounted? And if I want to go to an 18" wheel with a tire...

    How tall can i go?

Thank you. Why would airing down result in being closer to the upper control arms?

    How tall can i go?

Have a new 2023 Big Horn with factory 18 Inch wheels, and 2 inch level lift on front. Minimal off roading. Can i put 34 inch tall tires on without issue? Thank you.
