You don't NEED an H8. That's just the size. There's plenty of H8 batteries with lower specs than high end H7. All else equal, an extra 6% CCA and 20 mins reserve capacity isn't gonna make a difference and unless you're running on your on battery alone frequently
Second time I've been caught in a torrential downpour and the FCB keeps flashing and hitting the brakes for a split second every 2 seconds. Completely unsafe in traffic. Is there a way to quickly disable the forward collision braking while driving without fumbling through the UConnect settings...
This issue has happened to me twice in 20k miles. Both around 5-7 mph while rolling through yield at an intersection merge. Definitely would have been an issue if a car had been coming the other way...

Only put about 100 miles on them so far but I really like them. Quiet, comfortable, smoother steering, don't feel soggy turning. Notable improvements over the Duelers. I was very happy with the Continental ExtremeContacts on my car so I had high expectations of these.
Took the truck in to replace tires at a national tire center. Had about 5/32" left on the stock Duelers other than the edge wear. Had them throw the alignment check on an the toe was still a bit off, which they fixed.
The new Continental TerrainContact H/T in stock size and 117H XL are so far a...
Now that I think about it, Thursday after the storm I recall hearing an odd sloshing sound from the front passenger side area that I thought was due to the puddles around but sounded different than water hitting the wheel well covers...
Pardon my ignorance, but what cowl? You referring to the plastic grid between the hood and windshield? We have lots of oak and cedar around us so it's always a mess I clean out periodically. Here's a few screen captures from using my phone to get a view inside. Looks like water spots below where...
AC condensate drain is dripping and I put a bottle brush up it without and issue or junk. How does water in the area in front of the windshield drain? Could it have come in from the external air intake somehow?
Had a huge rainstorm the last two days and this morning I get in to drive and nothing is coming out the cabin air vents no matter what I set them to and all the manual vent settings were wide open. I could hear the fan running. I popped the glove box and pulled the cabin air filter and it's...
Yes, those are the stock Dueler H/L Alenza tires. If it were the tires being to soft I would think both fronts would wear like that unless I make a lot more left turns than right turns. I have a new set of Continental TerrainContact H/T XL that just arrived. Debating if I should take it back in...
Update: so I went ahead and left the tires on for another 5k miles since the OP, upped the cold inflation pressure from 36 to 38, and had an alignment done 4k miles ago. The worst tire in the original post is currently the rear passenger tire and looks to have not changed. The front passenger...
Well this just happened for the second time. Was about to turn right at an intersection, slowing down to turn probably nearly at a stop and the truck beeps, says, "shift to park"on the dash, and acted like it was in neutral when the drive selector was on drive. Stopped, shifted to park, shifted...
