I posted this on another forum after remembering that I liked the Nikola Badger's exterior design. I reread the details on the release of the vehicle (which I know never happened)
I wonder if this is Ram's "paradigm breaker?" Nikola said they'd build this truck with another OEM manufacturer. It...
I'm UC4 and I had a one year trial of those services, so they should be working for your truck already?
And while the rate is maybe $250ish a year, they keep sending promotional deals. Even half is more than I'd care to pay, though. Remote lock is nice if I'm at a hotel or something and not...
They keep touting "Range Extending Paradigm Breaker" so surely they've got something innovative coming out.
Maybe they'll have an onboard Mr. Fusion Home Reactor.
Hey all, I wanted to circle back since I started this thread. I bit the bullet and got a propride 3p a few months ago. Installation took a while because I certainly didn't want to do it wrong. I've only towed with it twice (about 40 minutes each way) and once was to the dealership to replace the...
Thanks for all who chimed in. I found a better solution for me. I used the 12V refrigerator switch beside the fridge that I'd overlooked for the past year.
It's not just charging time though when you're towing. Most chargers seem to be pull-in parking spaces, which isn't going to work well in the majority of towing situations. Now, if they could get battery weight down and my camper had batteries that fed my tow vehicle...
I agree. I had hoped they'd continue with the EcoDiesel until I was ready to trade so there would still be a market for them. But my trade timeframe is way down the road unless something happens.
As a diesel owner, I hope the demand for diesels is still here when it's time for me to trade/sell.
I wonder if this in any way means that the electrified 1/2 ton will definitely have good range and towing capability, as they've been claiming.
This next trip is very short, so yeah, I could cool it down before I even left and drive with it off. But, the info is helpful for future longer trips.
Thanks for the info and yes, that's the tunnel I was thinking of. It's the closest one of any distance (not like the Parkway tunnels) I could think of.
Thanks everyone. Seems pretty unanimous. I'd never heard of the tunnel thing--never saw a sign about it, but then I probably wasn't looking for a sign either. There's a pretty good tunnel between NC and TN. I'll have to see if its one that requires propane to be off.
I've heard both arguments on this. I wonder who here tows with their refrigerator cooling--especially in terms of going to the campsite so its cool when you arrive?
Mine's a three-way that runs on propane/battery/shore power. I've not had a lot of luck running it on battery while traveling, but...
We're paying $1800/year for a 2021 Ram 1500 Limited, 2018 Volvo XC60, 2013 Mazda 3, and 1996 Ford F150. We're with State Farm. We do have a multi-line discount and it's just me and my wife with no claims history. I can't say for sure if it's increased much. The truck came on the policy last...
I'm not sure what sales look like for the 5'7" vs 6'4" but just looking at lots and what's on the road--in my area--the 5'7" is far from being a dying breed. It's like 90/10 around here in favor of 5'7". Our truck is a travel vehicle and a camper puller. I've got a 1996 F150 with an 8' bed for...
