Understatement. I was in a 2022 Escalade uber a few weeks back and I swear the Ram rides better and is more luxurious inside that the Escalade.

@Eighty is like your parents at Christmas, when you didn't get the brand new bike you've been waiting so long for ... then your parents say, "did you check in the other room" where they hid it from you.

Sandi had told me a few months back, after I had ordered my Limited, that the last week of every month is chaos for them so if you emailed her last week, that would explain the missed email/slow response.

    Laramie Advanced Safety Group

Might be a website issue. I know the Ram website has been glitchy in the past ... maybe try a different browser or clear cookies and try again?

Who else is disappointed in the New 2022 1500 build quality?

In regards to screen issues, I'm not trying to make excuses but this is a brand new software system and like any new system (Windows, iOS etc) it's bound to have issues as it seems to be a full rewrite of Uconnect 4. Again, not making excuses for them but I went into my new truck fully expecting...

Would have to imagine they are loaded like that without any fluids in the engine, fuel tank etc

Amen. Already have friends and family asking about MD to purchase a new vehicle. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.

    Auto dim high beams

I used the auto high beams a tonne on my road trip home with my new Limited and they were great. So much better and more accurate than the auto high beams on my gf's Tesla.

I asked them about providing a cashiers check when I arrived to pick it up but they said wire only.

Agree with all your points. I think they quicker you come to terms with it, the easier it is knowing you have a couple of chips. Big rigs are definitely the main issue though from my experience ... unfortunately, I was on the I-40 westbound for a big part of my trip and it is like big rig...

Good stuff, yeh I think you can't leave it on for more than a day before it gets risky with possible residue bleeding into the clear coat. I had 5 days/2000 miles so wasn't really an option to take off and reapply every day, particularly when it was about 19 degrees in places like Amarillo when...

Great idea. I would've got something done in Lake Charles but I was on a bit of a time constraint so didn't want to sit around for a few days to get it done. Ultimately its going to happen sooner or later. I live and travel a lot in the Southwest so our roads are always covered in rocks and...

Just some caution for those picking up at a dealer with a long drive home. After a big wash yesterday, I've come to find a bunch of small rock chips on the front bumper of my truck. I didn't do Track Armor or anything else unfortunately as I had read it can leave some permanent marks on your...

I asked the guys at the dealership for their advice, and combined it with what it said in the owner's manual (page 147). Basically, it recommends moderate driving the first 300 miles. After intial 60 miles or so, around 50-60mph is desirable. The dealership did say not to set cruise on the...

A couple of pics from my roadtrip. Just under 2000 miles Lake Charles LA - Las Vegas NV. About 35 hours of driving. This truck is incredible, full credit to the design and build team in Michigan. Comfortable, quiet, smooth, lots of tech but easy to use, spacious, storage spots everywhere you...
